Play table with umbrella
Is a very sturdy table made of good quality materials. Easy to clean and is spacious enough for more than one child. Easy for them to get in and out. Make sure when assembling to drill the hole before screwing the screws since they are not drilled before hand. Other than that it was easy to assemble.

Great little table for toddlers
The reviews for this picnic table seemed a bit all over the place so I thought I’d add my experience. I wanted something that would last outside through different seasons (we live in Michigan) and be big enough for my son. He is 3 but is closer in size to a 5-6 year old child so it can be a challenge to find things made for young kids that still accommodate him comfortably. While some people said you will struggle to assemble this, it wasn’t that bad. The hardware came securely taped to the pieces of the table. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver. I am a 5’2”, 37 year old momma of no great strength and I was able to build the whole table in our living room in just under half an hour. I only used the screwdriver but if you used a drill it would surely go together in minutes. The hardest areas to do on your own would be folding the bases inward in order to screw them together. To hold them in place since I was on my own I just braced them against my couch (if you don’t actively hold them together they spring back apart). The only other issue that took me a minute was snapping the bench seats onto the base. I had to bear down with my body weight before the bench piece snapped on with a loud click. Once they snap on they stay on so it’s not hard to secure them with the screws. One parent commented that there are no holes so it’s impossible to screw together and this made it a wasted purchase. Please disregard this. It is true that there are no holes but the screws are sharp enough to easily screw into the plastic with a bit of strength and the photo directions clearly indicate where to do this for each step.Once assembled it is easy to move wherever you need to and would work indoors or outdoors. It says it seats up to 6 children but 4 seems more reasonable. My only complaint would be that the included umbrella has no strap to keep it securely buttoned down when not in use. On a windy day I could see the wind catching it and maybe bending the frame of the umbrella. It is easy to remove the upper portion with the umbrella top so you could take it off entirely and put it away when the weather is bad, or make your own little tie strap for it.Overall I feel this table is worth the investment time and money wise. Every Step2 product we have purchased so far has lasted multiple years of full time outdoor use successfully. They can be bulkier than other brands but I believe it’s also what helps them survive kiddo abuse and the elements. I’d recommend this to my fellow momma friends in a heartbeat!

Great Outside Table for Kids
We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old, and already had the matching Step2 Naturally Playful Sand & Water Center which matches this in color (kind of anyways). With the onslaught of children expected at my 1 year old's birthday party, my wife bought this in a rush to serve as an eating and playing table out on our deck. The kids all loved it, and my children continue to enjoy it. It very comfortably fits 4 small children (2 on each side) or a very cozy 6 children. My 1 year old son can sit on his own on the bench and yet the sizing is right for my much larger 3 year old daughter as well.My only warning... while it wasn't impossible to put together and I did accomplish it on my own, it would have been far easier with a second person. You essentially need to hold two large pieces of plastic together and use a cordless screwdriver to put a large screw into both of them simultaneously (16 or so times). It would have been easier had there been clear holes or indicators where the screws went, but you essentially have to guess based on a poor diagram, and I had to pull the screws out and re-position them more than once when my angle missed the second piece of plastic. It really isn't that hard and shouldn't deter you from buying this... anybody can get it done in 15 minutes... but two people will make it much more manageable. The electric screwdriver or drill with a Phillips bit is essentially required.

Excellent Table
We first purchased the Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Picnic Table with Umbrella as a first table for our little grandchildren and loved it. It was time to get a larger one as another grandchild came along and other kiddos come over to play here so we bought this one. Both tables are excellent. The first one mentioned has a seat height of 9" which is great for 1-3 year olds (and some smaller 4's) and this one not only allows more children seated, but the seat height is about 12" so they can grow with it. The table is adorable, and very sturdy. It does not fold flat but can easily be brought inside through a regular door. I love the style and sturdiness of this one. It's easy for one person to move around as it is not heavy, but it is heavy enough to stay put in high winds. The umbrella has a locking unit under the table if you want to use it so it won't pull out. Either table is a great choice. The Little Tikes one I mentioned is a great "first" and this one is a great "grow up with" -- Great tables! Easy to assemble,

Power Tool
I received our picnic table today. No issues with shipping. Directions show pictures of a person only using a hand tool (screwdriver), that is not accurate at all, you will need some type of electric tool. You will need the power tool because the areas where a screw needs to be put do not have any holes, you need to make them. You will need a screwdriver because the areas the screws go in are a little tight and the power tool might not be able to put it all the way in. You also need to make a guess where you should place the hole. The pictures from the directions give you a pretty good idea where to make the holes but there are no close ups of the areas. This mom put it together in about 45 min- 1 hour with a 3 year old "helping".Our 3 year old is 35.5 inches tall and his feet did not touch the ground yet, probably 1-2 inches above it.After putting it together the table and umbrella seem pretty sturdy. I can already tell my son will be using it a lot. I am happy with this purchase.
