desertcart.com: Tailor Made (Audible Audio Edition): Alex Seeley, Alex Seeley, Oasis Audio: Books Review: This book helps to break off lies you’ve been believing. You are ENOUGH! - What’s so great about this book is that it’s Alex’s heart, her freedom journey, her passion for leading other people into freedom, in completely plain and simple language. Her writing style is like her preaching style: she gets to the point and is always pointing to Jesus. After hearing her preach so many inspiring messages, to get a glimpse into the life of Alex the little girl, Alex the ministry novice, and Alex the newlywed, is such a gift. She makes herself relatable. Sometimes we see preachers so free and on fire on the stage and think, “I could never have that. I could never be like that.” But because Alex lets us into the struggles that plagued her before she learned to silence the lies of the enemy, we see that it’s possible for any of us to find the kind of joy and freedom her life exudes. I read the book over the past few days, and I can honestly say I’ve lived (over the past two years in recovery from brokenness) the part of life where you have to break off lies that you aren’t good enough, the lies that keep you stuck in comparison, the lies that keep you cut off from the people who could really speak love and wisdom into your life. I loved the organization, authenticity, and authority of the writing in Tailor Made: the chapters all contain part of her story, practical tools for diving deeper into freedom from insecurity and lies, plenty of beautifully suited and applicable scripture, and a prayer at the end for talking to God from wherever the reader is in her faith. I especially connected to the parts of Alex’s story about her relationship with her mother, the ways she felt unwanted and had negative words spoken over her. My mother and I have struggled in the past with these same kinds of issues, but I’m happy to report that we have been healing our relationship. Generational lies and curses can keep us stuck and trapped in unfulfilling relationships and tumultuous cycles. The people closest to us and the people who came before us have a lot of power over how we think about ourselves, but Alex reminds us that it’s what God thinks about us that solidifies our identity as sons and daughters. I actually can’t wait to give my own mom (or “mum” if you’re Alex) a copy of this book. She will love it and will definitely relate. Review: LOVE LOVE LOVE - I absolutely love this book. It definitely gives perspective on the everyday worries and labels others put on us as well as the ones we put on ourselves. How we aren’t defined by those labels but are Tailor Made how God wanted us to be. Must read!!!

One of the things I love about this book is that Alex so tenderly shares ...
One of the things I love about this book is that Alex so tenderly shares portions of her own story ans creates a solidarity with her readers in it. Her honesty will leave you nodding even though your story looks drastically different. Because at some point, we’ve all believed less about ourselves. We’ve all believed lies about who we really are & purposed to be. We’ve worn false labels, living life as knock-offs of what we are called to be & seen as by the Creator. This book helps you recognize wrongful thinking rooted in an inaccurate view of God, insecurities, unforgiveness & more. But it doesn’t end there and that’s one of the other things I love about this book. It doesn’t take you through the Spirit-led process of identifying false labels and leave you to pity them or yourself. It doesn’t give more attention to the past and the limitations of lies than it gives to the One who has called you forth in healing and purpose. It calls you forward in kindness and truth. You’ll not be left unchanged holding the flat pages of this book. Because I believe it has the power to bring about a holy internal combustion over the lives of those who really read it.

Amazing!
I know God lead me to this book! Little did I know when I picked up this book I would be lead in a journey of discovering who I am and how precious I am to God. I related to many of her examples and learned that I am truly unique and so greatly loved. I had no idea when I started reading that it was written by s woman that I had heard at a church near my home in Nashville, that is so God to create that detail also! Thank you for writing this book at this specific time and for sharing your life to help someone like me. If you read this book be ready for a transforming process to take place. It has been an amazing journey!

Life changing!
I first heard Alex speak about the book through an online sermon at Fresh Life Church. I knew I had to read the book and I am forever grateful. Although our stories are different, as I read her story I felt as if she was reading mine to me. She experienced the same feelings and hurts as I did and learning about how she conquered them brought me hope. This book has taken mine and Gods relationship to a whole new level as I allow Him to go to my deepest hurts and heal me. Not only a must read, but a must to apply to your life.

Really inspiring
Really inspiring book!! I struggled a little with the writing style. But that’s probably just personal preference. But the overall message was so good and I took a lot away from this!

Say hello to wonderful you!
Everyone needs this book, literally! This book on identity and being restored in knowing who God created you to be is freeing. This is a message, that especially in this day and age society needs. I love the fact that Alex wrote prayers at the end of each chapter to help apply what each chapter was imparting. Even if you don’t, or even have dealt with these issues, These prayers have released affirmation of forgiveness, identity. I have passed this to several friends who have suffered and told them to keep passing along. I will be using this book to teach children’s church and will be ordering more books!

I absolutely loved this book
Multiple times throughout this book I felt God speak to me. I think so many people struggle with their identity and this helped me realize that I got my identity through worldly things instead of our God. I had a break through while reading this book and it will forever change the way I view myself and who I am in Christ.

Fantastic book. Such revelation about who we are and what God has spoken over us. Written in such a way to make you believe greater things of God are within your grasp. Would highly recommend it.
