Gorgeous coverage and finish
This product feels light but gives a lot of coverage. The color looked like it would be too dark in the pan, but it turned out to be a beautiful match for my cool-toned skin. The foundation minimized the appearance of my pores and doesn't settle into my lines. Application was easy. I used the included sponge, but I think this would also work well with a wet beauty blender. Excellent quality and value.

Amazing youthful appearance
This is a great foundation. Very different from American foundations as the color is much lighter. YOU MUST PREP YOUR SKIN FIRST!!!! I cannot emphasize enough. You need clean skin and it must be hydrated with a moisturizer. A little goes a long way! It is also in color buildable with American cozy. The coverage is solid but make sure you dab not blend!!!!!!

From the perspective of someone who doesn't do makeup...
This cushion is pretty good! I don't do makeup outside of mascara almost ever, but even when I do put on makeup it's usually just foundation on the outside of my face for multiple reasons: it's where the majority of my acne was as a teen so it has the most discoloration, I have freckles across my nose and cheeks that I like and foundation always covers them up, I have really deep lines around my nose and on my chin where foundation always cakes no matter what so it looks messy, and putting a foundation just a smidge darker than your skin tone around your face will accentuate the rest and make you look more 3D and less flat than an even layer of foundation would. Now, I'm really pale. So many people say they're really pale but I'm REALLY pale, so I purposefully sought out a Korean cushion foundation because the Korean beauty standard is unfortunately extremely eurocentric so they often have a lot of the lighest foundations which made me figure I'd find a match for me better by looking overseas. I bought the lightest shade of this available and it is STILL too dark for me, which is pretty unfortunate. I'm also fairly cool toned, and from what I can tell these foundations seem to be more warm toned- but I don't do makeup and I'm not that smart with this stuff so I could be wrong. Also cushion foundations are supposed to be something you can slap on without needing to use a setting powder, but I find this foundation stays pretty tacky for quite a long time which makes it stick to my hair. This could be easily avoided with a setting powder, but I went for a cushion specifically because they're good to use for on-the-go touch-ups and as a base that doesn't need to be set, but I shouldn't have to buy an additional product just for this foundation to not be sticky for hours, especially since I don't even do my makeup like that. But for people who already have setting powders or are willing to purchase one, I don't think the tackiness would be a problem. IDK how good it is at sun protection since I always put sunscreen on under my foundation like you're supposed to, but I'd always recommend that you never treat foundation or powders with SPF in them as being adequate protection from the sun. All that aside, the cushion is still easy to use, it blends in well, and it never leaves my skin feeling or looking dry or greasy. I'm pretty satisfied, I think it'd decently friendly for beginners (as long as they don't press too hard on the cushion and get way too much foundation- a little goes a long way w/ cushions especially!), and I think people who do their makeup more often would appreciate this for doing touch-ups when out and about especially since it also has a mirror inside which can be used when touching up other makeup as well. If they make a lighter shade, I'd buy it again!

Not as dark as it looks
Purchased the shade No.21 and was worried it was going to be too dark but got it anyways. Once I opened it up and saw it in person, I thought forsure it would be too dark yet somehow magically it works perfectly! I struggle trying to find light shades that don't look too orange, yellow or pink so I am surprised with how well this product looks natural while covering my acne and acne scars. Super stoked. Now on the hunt for the perfect blush shade lol

Mixed Feelings
UPDATED REVIEW: I hated this at first, but I decided to give it another shot before throwing it out. My skin is currently in better shape than it was originally when I tried this; I have no active breakouts and no flaking. I tried applying this with a Real Techniques sponge instead of the sponge this comes with, and when used with a patting motion (rather than wiping it on) this works better. It no longer has the drying effect or the crepey look that it had before. I still need to use a strong moisturizer before this and make sure that I don't have any flakes, but it works now. It is fast to apply for every day and gives enough coverage to hide redness, but does not fully cover my dark acne marks, which is fine. It gives a healthy, dewy look to the skin, and has decent lasting power. I like it best with a light layer of translucent loose powder pressed into the oily areas of the skin with a damp sponge and then blended out with a large fluffy powder brush. Even set with powder, it is a little tacky throughout the day. I think if you touch your face a lot or have long hair, the slight stickiness might annoy you, but I have very short hair and avoid touching my face so it's not horrible for me. I do not think the cushion actually has much product in it, and I expect that it will run out faster than other things I have. It is travel friendly because of the no leak cushion, but the plastic packaging is pretty bulky. At this point, I'm torn. I currently like it, but it only works for me when my skin is in good shape, which is not really the best quality for a foundation type product to have.. I think this would probably work best for people with well balanced, normal skin (dry skin is emphasized with this and it is too shiny for oily) (doesn't look good on active acne, very large pores, or other texture) who just want to even out their skin and have a fresh, dewy look. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had high hopes for this cushion foundation as I've heard many good things about the brand and this generally gets good reviews across the board. Unfortunately it really doesn't work for me. No. 21 is a nice, pale neutral (but not dull beige) toned color (my skin is about an NC15 for those familiar with MAC). This product has light coverage that is build-able to medium, and does a good job of evening out the skin and covering redness (you will need a separate concealer if you have blemishes and want them fully covered). The finish is quite "glowy," and it is fairly longwearing. And that's where the good stops. Somehow, this product grabs on to every single bit of texture in my skin, making my skin look worse than before and making it obvious that I have makeup on my skin. It makes my pores more visible and manages to significantly dry out my skin to the point of flaking. This settles in to smile lines and makes the skin look crepey when viewed up close. From a distance, this looks pretty good, it gives you that slightly glossy hyper-real look. The second you take a closer look it's all bad. I've tried it with several different heavy duty moisturizers and proper exfoliation etc. to try and combat the flaking, but no matter what I do, it dries my skin out. I've also tried it with and without powder, but it never sets and will stay tacky all day either way. For reference I have acneic combination skin -- dehydrated overall with some dryness/flaking and I get oily on my chin/inner cheeks/middle of the forehead. Most foundations tend to emphasize my dryness so I choose to "grade on a curve" and in that department this product gets an F (because it actually CAUSES more dryness). I would say that this could work on normal/oily skin that has no dryness but I think anyone with more serious oil production would be unhappy with the lack of setting/extreme shine they would get.

I bought both #21 and #23; all hail cushion foundation 🙏
I have pale combination skin with moderate acne; here's my experience with both #21 and #23. - #23 was super moisturizing, but came off a little cakey after a while. It felt cold when I applied it which was nice because it prevented my acne from flaring up. The downside of this shade is that it carries a pretty visible orange tint. I would recommend this for people who have semi-tan skin with prominent warm undertones. - #21 was a bit less moisturizing, but it perfectly matched my pale (indoors) skin 😆. I noticed that it's not as cakey as #23. The downside of this shade is that it can't completely hide all of the acne; you'll have to find other color-correcting products or concealors for that. I would recommend this for people who have light skin with either warm or olive undertones. If you have chalk-white skin, then even this shade may still be too dark. All in all, both can become a little sticky in warm weather, but that can be addressed with some translucent setting powder. You could actually try using #21 as the base foundation and #23 to contour. These cushion foundations are excellent for beginners who aren't accustomed with brushes. I like to use them for "no-makeup" makeup looks.

Awesome Foundation.
Wow! I did NOT expect this level of excellence. The compact foundation is amazing. It is light, but the coverage is magical. I'm older and battle with pigmentation issue & this foundation makes spots vanish! It also doesn't creep into nooks & crannies. I'm 70 and my complexion looks like glass (ok, my eye area is my eye area... but still pretty good!) This is revolutionary makeup. The only thing I'd change up next time is the shade. But the 21 I tried is do-able for a fair complex with full makeup. This product makes my year..

Just small issues
This stuff is kind of magical. A small amount can go a long way and it is buildable. I LOVE how convenient and non-messy the whole thing is: the package, applicator, makeup well/sponge system. It's much better than having to carry around a bottle and separate sponge that you need to keep clean and dry. I have a mix of dry and oily skin and this works pretty well with both. While there is some separation from the oil after several hours, you can usually fix it with a touch-up, but it also just doesn't look THAT bad when it separates. I live in a very hot environment and, again, it holds up pretty well in that. HOWEVER, I have very pale neutral coloring and the lightest shade of this (21) is too dark and yellow. So I looked into other MISSHA products and found their Perfect Cover Cream in the color 13 but the cream does not cover as well as the cushion foundation. So I mix the cream in with the cushion, and I can get a pretty close match. It also somehow maintains the coverage and buildability of the original cushion foundation. If you need to build up more, it might not last you a long time. I build it up, but because I mix in the other foundation, it lasts me quite a while. You'll really just have to try it out yourself to see how quickly you'll go through it. But definitely try just a small amount first and tap/press it onto the skin to see how much you actually need. Some people use a lot more than necessary because they are used to using so much more. If you do that, you will go through this stuff quickly.

Edit: 5 stars
Edit: I'm sorry I was hasty to judge this product without giving it time! The mirror was infact covered by a protective layer. The coverage is alright but you can layer it. It doesn't feel like I have clay on my face like most foundations! I love this product and I will be using it for more years to come for everyday make up. It brightens my skin and doesn't oxidize at the end of the day. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I used a beauty blender instead of the ugly sponge they provided. It was a game changer!!!!! The mirror is blurred I thought I gotta peel some protective layer that's why it has some scratch on it. It's not my colour (unfortunately). I thought it would give me a dewy look but it shows a matte finish and my face is itching. :((( I wish I can return this thing or get a refund!!!!

Consigliato 👍🏻

AMAZING!
I LOVE this so much! I was after something quick and easy to apply as I'm all about cutting down the time it takes to get ready. This is MUCH quicker than blending out liquid foundation. I was slightly worried about the shade as it looks quite orange and I'm as pale as a ghost (normally will get the lightest shade of foundation.) However, once on the skin it's the perfect shade - good coverage but still looks natural, dewy finish. I will put on a tiny bit of concealer where I need it afterwards but this does a great job of evening me out and making me look glowy. Hopefully it lasts me a long time, but it's such a good price, and you only need one push of the cushion for your whole face! Very very happy - GET IT! A few tips! -Start from the nose first (usually the most red here). -Shut the lid immediately after use so you don't dry out the product. -Try it WITHOUT powder for a gorgeous glowy look.
