OWDEN Professional Leather Edge Beveler, Size 2#,Leather Tool.

OK, so this number 2 just arrived and out of the box it’s very sharp and worked very well. Yes, it’s made in China. But when I was a kid if something said Made In Japan it was of the poorest quality. I wonder what happened there!? If you are considering much less expensive bevelers and you think you can get four for the price of this one then you will have four bevelers that marginally work and loath being sharpened. Get one good one and be happy with the results. It’s fun to use a nice tool that works very well. The only price there is the initial cost. You don’t have to cry way down the road every time you use it.

Beautiful, quality tool. It has retained its sharpness and cuts well. The wood handle is beautifully finished.

So when I took it out of the box,the first thing I noticed was the excellent quality of the tool. I bought this to use on 2-3oz leather so I expected it to be fine. It most certainly is. Would not be of use for anything thicker. It was honestly kind of dull out of the box but a couple strokes on a strop and it Cutts great! I also got the #2 which was great straight out of the box. Fit and finish on both were excellent especiallyfor the price! Very high quality. If you order the #1 expect very fine bevels though.

Works well. Ive used it quite a bit on orders I’m working on and it feels solid. Strop pretty often to avoid getting caught up in the middle of a cut, but this is worth the money, especially compared to other professional options. The handle fits nicely and makes it easy to use for longer bevel runs.

These are well made and sharp. They get the job. Watch the sizes. My #2 is larger than my #4. Their numbering system appears to be backwards. I’d like a #3 but it’s not offered. Mine both do an excellent job. They’re definitely better than the multi tool style and the cheap stuff.

Have bought several edges from Amazon most online stuff requires sharpening out of this box. This does not.Not experienced enough to know what great quality is with leather work tools but it is quality

Very nice product, the fit and finish are great and they work well.The fine tips are great for getting into tight spaces or edging thinner leather, but they can dig in a bit if you're using very soft leather.Tools arrived fairly sharp and polished up wonderfully after a little time with rouge and a strop.

I don't dislike anything. It arrived on time and was sharp and ready to use. Very Impressive.

I love this beveler. It’s sharp and cuts smoothly. It’s a better quality than the cheapo ones but are still affordable.
