This cable does not have the left and the right sides bonded together, which was ideal for me because my left and a right speakers were a few metres apart. The clips do a good job of keeping together the part of the cable run that I wanted together. The shielding is ok, but a fair bit of noise (hum/hiss) was present, but a 5-metre unbalanced cable run will never be perfect.
