Worked!
I bought this for a “rescue” 10 month old shepherd we obtained. He was thin when we got him and for various reasons suspect he ate his poop for the same. After about 2 days, he stopped. He began by sniffing, then ignoring it. I was also giving it to our 3 yr old female shepherd just in case as it’s recommended. I did 2 pills a day as they are large dogs. I feed both dogs chicken, turkey burger and lean beef along with various veggies supplemented with Purina. Poor thing. He is so sweet and has a life of Riley now as he sleeps with this old lady and will never be crated again. The pic attached was one of his “for sale” pics if you can believe it.

JUNK, DIDN'T WORK AT ALL
It's 1 AM on Sunday nite and all I wanna do is shower and go to sleep. I'm getting ready to do that and here are my pups eating their own scat after 5 days of using this scam product. I had to change their bedding, wash them down with a body spritz and wash their toys. Royal pain in the ass. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

SURPRISE
Yes it is a SURPRISE that such a small nugget does such big effect. I split the nugget in half since my puppy is only six months and give her the other half in the afternoon. There are times when it doesn't work and perhaps it is due to the time given. The jar doesn't state the time nor if it should be before or after meals, which is something important to know.I know several people who use it and they are very happy with results. For me, it has been some days good and some days not so good.

Poo eating is gross. This might work. Get on top of it and be aggressive.
So here's the deal. If your dog likes the taste of poo, it's going to be tough to break the habit. Our cocker spaniel (he) needs high fiber food. The boxer (she) decided his high fiber poo was like candy. We didn't realize she was eating his poo till she came in the house, drank too much water, and vomited liquified poo. If you're looking at this product, you might understand our distressed urgency to make that never, ever, happen again. After watching them a bit, we found that she doesn't eat her own poo, and he hates any poo with the fire of a thousand suns, so we have a contained problem. So for this product, the cocker loves it. He's prissy and refuses to eat a lot of things, but this is like a treat. To prevent poo eating once it comes out the other end, the boxer seems to need at least a 2x to 3x the recommended dose, spread throughout the cocker's food. It seems to cut down the poo eating. She's a boxer, though, and really stubborn, and also likes bitter/hot flavors. This is going to be a long haul thing. It causes no distress to the cocker to even give 3x the dose.If we have to feed the cocker this for the rest of their lives, fine. I'd rather do that then ever clean up liquified vomited poo, ever again. My standards are low, so if she eats a little and just doesn't puke it, whatever. This is what we do for our dogs.(Sorry for the details, but this is a product for a gross situation and folks need to know... I'm disgusted by my own descriptions. Dogs are gross but I still love mine.)

Pretty much just expensive cookies - that don’t freshen breath much either. Try broccoli.
My dogs like these as treats, but this has no effect whatsoever on the poo-eating problem. My rescued dachshund Gillie has recently rebegun his illicit snacking habits which we assume he developed during his time living in desperate conditions on the streets. He was skin and bones when we got him, and he still has some anxiety and other behaviors learned as a stray, such as hoarding food, cramming multiple chews in his mouth and just carrying them everywhere, chugging water all at once instead of occasional refreshment, and marking eeeeverywhere. And eating poop.We thought we had broken him of the habit several years ago, but he’s started up again in the last few months. Vet checkup found no dietary reason, no nutritional deficiency, so it’s a behavioral thing, but we don’t know what’s changed to bring this back on. Previously, we were able to stop him by mixing cooked broccoli in with the dinners off all our dogs; while it tastes good going in, apparently they don’t like how it tastes from the other end. That, plus good nutrition, and showing him he could rely on us to feed him every day, and give him cookies and chews and toys and blankets and love, seemed to have been what broke his habit before. He’s still a squirrelly little guy, definitely with doggie-PTSD after goodness knows how he struggled when homeless and alone. But he’s settled a lot and definitely feels he’s part of the family. I really don’t know why he’s started up again.Broccoli was effective before but I thought this time I’d look for a more convenient alternative. Doh! This stuff doesn’t work. And we’ve also tried adding meat tenderizer to his food - the kind with no msg - but not only does it not stop coprophagia, it’s made him picky on the wrong end of the process! So we’re going to hope cooked broccoli works this time around, while we still investigate potential reasons for the behavior so we can possibly correct the problem for good. (Fingers crossed!) If this product failed for you and your dog, I recommend trying cooked broccoli, just about a 1 to 4 ratio with their food, wet or dry. All four family dogs have liked it, in its appropriate order, ahem. Good luck!Hey NaturVet, add more broccoli to this product and maybe it’ll work. Two stars instead of one because my dogs at least like this as a treat.

Defective item - no refund
Product arrived damaged and was told there is no return or refund option for this product. The container opened in the package, the chews and all the little crumbs and powder at the bottom of the container got all over my other products. Spent a good amount of time having to wash every single product. Additionally half the chews were smushed so I can no longer accurately use them. Extremely disappointed in lack of support. Not worth purchasing considering risk of this happening again and lack of resolution
