Purchase an Aqua Pencil Kit and you will get the Aqua Pencil, Aqua Tether, Aqua Slate, Aqua Lead Pack, and an Aqua Pencil Eraser. This is the full kit to get you started again on writing underwater or near the water. The Aqua Pencil Kit is available in Yellow, Green, Blue and Pink. The Slate provided in this kit has been specially designed to fit the Aqua Pencil. It has a basket to capture the tip and a spot for the pencil to snap on. There is a hole designed to accept the Aqua Tether. A slot and larger hole provide various means to attach the slate to your gear. The Slate is 4" wide x 6" high. Other sizes of Slates will become available in the future.

Very high-quality and worth the extra cost
This is the best dive slate ever made. I’m an instructor and use my slate to communicate with students and friends in dives. You can map wrecks, record your dive plan, track beginning and ending air pressure, and write down all kinds of details about your dive. I keep my slate on a retractor and erase with toothpaste, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, or Sea Buff. The pencil writes bold and clear so reading is easy even in low light. I know it is one more thing to hang from your gear but it’s an indespensible piece of equipment for every dive. I hope they never stop making this slate!

The Best Underwater Slate to Date
This is the best underwater slate I have ever used. The pencil design and the way it attaches to the slate is simple and it keeps the pencil from dangling from the slate. The retracting lead is also nice as it avoids breaking of the lead. The eraser works really well too without smudging.

Best Pencil I've Found
After experimenting with all sorts of underwater pencils, I'm very happy I found this one. It sits well in my hand, I don't have to sharpen it, and it's got a good attachment point for a lanyard. The only problem I've had is that I use it with a wrist slate instead of the slate it was shipped it. It's sometimes a challenge to keep the pencil tucked under the wrist slate. If the company made a wrist slate with a way to easily secure the pencil to it, I'd buy it fast.

What I like about this item is that the pencil comes with replaceable lead. No more shaving a wooden pencil. What could be improved on is the securing of the pencil. It can come loose form the slate and hang. What I had to do is put a rubber band around the slate and pencil to insure it is held in place.
