James Bond 007 Giftset Paperback – January 1, 2004

Over Thanksgiving, I overheard my Father speaking to my Grandmother (his Mom) about what ever happened to his James Bond book collection he had as a kid. She said she didn't know, and he was talking about how he wish he still had the collection (He's a HUGE James Bond fan). Overhearing the conversation gave me the idea to try and track down a set similar to the one he had. I was lucky enough to find this set through Amazon sold by Goodwill. I bought the item several months ago, and my Dad's birthday isn't until August. The set is in great shape and I am hoping he enjoys the new set as much as he did th original he had.

All 14 of Ian Fleming's original James Bond novels in one package. I have to say... I thoroughly enjoyed reading most of these books, and I have read each of them once or twice more. In fact, some of them (From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Casino Royale, just to name a few) are even better than the films! I shall continue to re-read these.Five Stars

I imported it to Europe and everything worked out fine. The product itself is in a very good condition. I never thought that it would go right, but I am positively convinced now.

I have wanted to have the complete set for many years. The boxed set is convenient and attractively bound (except for some strangely garish colors). The price was a bit steep at $200.

The original Bond books are very well done. Having all of them in one collection is really fantastic. I heard President Kennedy was a bond fan back when these were first written.

I bought this because I was looking for a bundle of all of Ian Fleming's James Bond books. Maybe this is. But it is a horrible conversion, totally unreadable, with chapters, sentences, and books all run in together in one big block of text. When there *is* text. A lot of pages are just long rows of square boxes, indicating that there *might* be a character in the original file, but Kindle can't display it.There's no table of contents and no way to navigate through the book. Even using Kindle's search function on something simple like the book title doesn't take you to its title page. For that matter, I didn't see any title pages: Chapter 1 of the next book (I am being charitable and also guessing that these are multiple books) starts right at the end of the last sentence of the previous book. Blink, and you'll miss the fact you're now in another book.Okay, it's illegible and shoddy and readable only if you are desperate. But wait! There's more! The first book in the bundle isn't even by Ian Fleming! For all I know, it's a work of fan fiction and not even one of the licensed continuations -- does anybody know about a Bond book with a heroine in it named Scarlet Papava?At any rate, even at two bucks, this isn't worth the money. I would have given it a negative five stars if I could. What's the use of an ebook you can't even read? Frankly, I think somebody has put up a pirate scan, because I can't imagine the Bond estate putting up with a product like this.

These are Great to have on my book case to go to and re-read. While I was in high school I couldn"t wait to get these in paperback to read. If you can get these in a set get them.

Complete set in great condition! My husband is a die hard Bond fan and he was absolutely thrilled to get this for Christmas!
