Very handy continuity tester
I love this pocket sized continuity tester. I carry a lot of tools on the job. This tool saves me a lot of energy and time. Several other electricians have bought one after seeing mine in action on de-energized equipment.

It's cheap and it works - but not what it used to be
I saw this and it took me back t the one I had in the 60s. When it arrived it looked just like that, but instead of a steel tool, I got a painted plastic tube. For the price it was fine and it does what I wanted - check continuity. But the quality of that old tool is not here anymore.So if you want a cheap continuity tester with a so-so pocket light function, this will do. Some of the new LED ones will show you continuity when there really isn't a good connection. This one works much better. I just wish it were better quality. it feels like it will last about a week.

Instructions are non existant
I am an engineer and I can't figure out how to use this thing. No manual available on line.Instrument is not listed on the Sperry Instrument site.
