I use it for resawing rough lumber. I have been successful resawing ambrosia maple, walnut, and red oak. Properly tensioned, and with a reasonable feed speed, I get a good cut that I can then clean up with sandpaper in some cases, and a planer if its too much to sand. I don't do enough resawing of hardwoods to predict the lifespan of this blade, but it has already lasted longer than the blade the I used first. Won't say the name of that one though. Suffice to say that I am very pleased with this new blade. For my particular projects, it has given me straight and clean cuts with a good balance of feed rate and surface finish. Although I still have less than an hour and a half on this one, I feel like the teeth are still sharp, with no obvious signs of wear or distress.
