Diablo 3: Strategy Guide, Limited Edition

Great strategy guide that covers the basics of everything in the game at the time. Amazing art work and cover. Love the book mark. I don't have internet or cellular service in my area where I live and it's annoying looking things up when I'm in an area that I can get on the internet, just to forget it when I get home. Even if I didn't use it, I'll still have it around to read.

Great Guide. The cover itself is slightly reflective which gives it a very nice effect. The guide has a lot of good information and is very thick for a collectors guide. The Bookmark is well made and has a lot of detail in the top portion of it. Overall it was a great purchase and a must have for any collector or Diablo 3 Fan.

This book is worth every penny if you love Diablo 3 and the world it's set in. First it's huge 493 pages, yes you read that right. Next it's got a great break down of everything you need to know if your just getting started in Sanctuary. From armor to maps to crafting this has it all and was a big help to me getting into Diablo for the first time. Also if you didn't get the CE artbook this is packed full of much of the same art. The cover is nice hardback black with reflective III on the front, the back has one of the horadic symbols I believe. The bookmark is quality as well, not to cheap it's actually metal! This is worth the full price here on Amazon it's usually a few dollars less if they are in stock.

First I will say that this book is a great guide for introducing the game with the added bonus of some awesome concept art. However, it does only cover one play-through. (up to lvl30) The print quality is standard and lacks the luster to marvel anyone with the hopes of being impressed by great imagery, though it is very thorough. It also comes with a nifty little metal bookmark baring Diablo's melon. Overall, it is worth the buy if you appreciate the game.

Pretty good walk through for Diablo 3. Printed pre-patch content, this won't have all of the latest info. Diablo is a pretty linear game, so it's hard getting lost. However, this guide has detailed info on each class, the baddies of the world. Also the art work is pretty good.

I've been cautious of BradyGames guides since the original WoW guide was about half-full of completely useless information (a list of the names of every quest in the game, lists of item names that were spectacularly useless, etc.) and in general I have not found them to be as good as the Prima guides (like the spectacular Skyrim guide). But this one is actually very nice, and the majority of the information is potentially useful. It also seems pretty accurate in terms of matching up with the actual first release of the game. The Limited Edition comes with a metal bookmark (yawn) and a section on the armor artwork that was actually interesting to see, but otherwise is nothing special (the binding is nice though). The bookmark has a sharp point that may damage the top of a book's page(s) if you push it all the way down onto a page. The one thing I've found missing is a minimum-level information for item affixes. They tell you in a little box that each item affix has a minimum item level requirement, but they don't include that information in the list of affixes which was a bit annoying. But otherwise pretty much all the information you could want is in here. The authors clearly spent a lot of time playing the game on different classes, but they probably didn't have enough time to try out too many builds, so their character build advice is above average for such a guide, though still not really that useful. The full quest walk-throughs are provided for all four acts, but story information that isn't needed for fight strategy is omitted so it's not a complete spoiler for the story. I learned a number of things I didn't know before (the exact scaling for creatures based on the number of players in co-op for example) so the guide has actually been useful for us in playing the game. I didn't receive it until after the Normal play-through was complete, and that's probably the best way to do it so that you enjoy the story and whatnot the first time through, after which the guide becomes a useful reference as you proceed into Nightmare mode or roll a new class. This book was so helpful, for a while. unfortunately with so many updates being done the book became obsolete very soon. But the whole package was really nice. Bookmark kinda silly, but very happy with the purchase. And thankyou for the reasonable price, alot better than blizzard offered. Thanks.
