Chaco Kids' ZX1 Ecotread Athletic Sandals

I love chacos!! You can conform the straps to fit your foot. Then just get them we and there is glue inside that then locks the straps in place! I use them everyday. I wear them hiking (3-8 miles) and for summer camp (endless miles chasing pre teen campers) and never have issues! I have had some pairs for 10 years and still wear them. Yall they are my daily shoes and they last!! The arch support makes them soo comfortable. Highly recommend these (they come in tons of colors)!!

I purchased the Chaco ZX1 Ecotread Sandal for a trip I was going on last summer. I am an adult who chose to buy children’s sandals because they are a little bit cheaper. I wear a size 5-5.5 in women and the 4M fit me perfectly. I would recommend this shoe for any adult whose feet are small enough to buy children’s shoes, but I would also recommend these shoes to parents who are looking to find their children durable and supportive sandals. Arch Support The arch support on these shoes are great, it made my foot feel like I was wearing a tennis shoe. My feet did not start to ache quickly like they do when someone wears flip-flops. I could walk all day in these shoes and my arches would not be aching. Straps You can adjust the straps to fit your feet perfectly. Once the straps are adjusted the shoes will fit that way unless you adjust them again. The only thing about the straps that was a bit challenging was that the side strap is long for me after adjustment. I do not mind that the strap is a little long because I just tuck it in when I put them on. I would wear these shoes in just about every situation because I know that they are secure on my feet. The design of the straps gives my feet a lot of air, and they do not get too hot on a summer day. Durability These shoes are very durable no matter where you are wearing them. They have a thick rubber bottom that has a lot of traction. They grip the ground extremely well and they are thick enough that if you would step on a sharp rock or glass you would not even feel it on the bottom of your foot. I wore the shoes everyday this past summer and they still look brand new. There is not a lot of wear and tear that happened because they are made well. Versatility I wore them in a lot of different environments, and they were great in every situation. I wore these shoes to the beach and would sometimes wear them into the water. The Chaco’s were easy to wear on the beach because of the back strap that held them onto my feet. I also took them hiking, and I did not regret the decision to wear the sandals over tennis shoes. They stayed on my feet well because of the design, and they also have great traction on the bottom of the shoe so I was never worried I would lose my footing. Up-Keep These shoes are easy to clean up if you get them dirty. They dry extremely quickly if you happen to get them wet. When they were dirty I would hose them off and could wash them with soap. Overall, I have compared these sandals to other outdoor sandals that my sister’s have and I think these ones are the best. I am definitely going to be buying another pair for this upcoming summer. This is such a great product and I am excited for it to warm up again outside, so I can start wearing my Chaco’s.

I love these shoes. After trying women’s sizes 7 and 8 without any success, I tried these big kid size 6. They fit perfectly. My normal size is a 7.5 in women’s. The arch hits just right, and I have high arches. The tie-dye pattern is adorable. The straps were easy to adjust. I got them quickly, and the price was half as much as the women’s sizes. I immediately wore them all day without any foot pain.

I bought these Chacos in size 4 Big Kid from Amazon as they were covered by Prime Shipping, and unfortunately they were too small for my 7W feet. No problem, I returned them for free (I love Prime!). I found the same sandals in the right size on another website for a much better price and bought them there, so here's the review. First of all, if you are a woman and wear size 7, you can totally go for a size 5 Big Kid, and, if you like having a little room, maybe a size 6 Big Kid should fit well, too. I like Chacos beacause you can adjust them as you like, even if your feet are not exactly identical. It might take a little bit of time to find the right adjustment (for those who are not familiar with these sandals, you can find Yourtube tutorials on how to adjust them effectively, and there are instructions pictured inside the box, too). The sole is not stiff, so you can wear them right out of the box without any break-in needed. In my case, I had to "educate" my feet to appreaciate the phenomenal arch support - being used to flat sneakers made my feet react with a little pain at first, but I'm now wearing them every day with no problem. As for the style, I would not wear them at a fancy dinner, but they look very nice with tight jeans - in other words, they don't necessarily giving the impression you're about to go for a hike. Finally, these look very sturdy, so unless you want to buy more than one pair, pick the color wisely, as these definitely look like they'll last a looooong time :)

Fit well and lasted over a year.

These shoes are a purchase in kids size for my daughter. Her foot is not particularly narrow but the sandals are too wide for the front part of her foot. I've had these shoes in my size and love them.

This is probably our 5th or 6th Chaco purchase! You seriously cannot beat the quality of these sandals! They are SO worth the price. They withstand all of the conditions that my daughter puts them through: dirt, water, mud.. It doesn't matter. They clean up so well! They offer great support and protection for the soles of your feet. Also, I can't forget to mention how stylish they are! They look so cute with a tshirt/Nike shorts or even with a cute pair of shorts and a tank. Such a versatile shoe! This particular sandal is SO cute. The turquoise and purple design is very trendy and cute, and the turquoise on the bottom of the sole gives this show a little something more than the traditional solid black sole of most designs. They do not come in half sizes though, so if you fall in between sizes, I suggest ordering a size down as they tend to run a bit large. Bottom line: you NEED a pair of Chaco's in your life! You will definitely get your money's worth.

I have been a Chacos fan for 8 years - I bought my first pair as a camp counselor, and they went through creeks, climbed on mountains, and visited many places with me. I wore them just about every single day. Finally, after many years of hard use, my front straps broke. I was slightly devastated, because they were by far my favorite shoes, but I understood that it was probably time to move on. So, I bought another pair of Big Kid size 6 Chacos on amazon... and I am in love all over again! By the way, I usually wear a 7 1/2 or an 8 so I went with the 6 (which is a women’s 8) and they fit like a gem. I have wide feet so the half size up is a smart move! I might even like my new ones better than my old ones (don’t tell anyone). I’m not sure if it’s the style or the sheer newness or them, but I feel like the sole is sturdier and the support is better. I was slightly worried my old faithfuls would simply be irreplaceable (for sentimental and broken-in reasons) but my new glories are already sneaking into a warm, fuzzy place in my heart. My only note to make is that the “gray” pair is more of a blue-ish gray. They’re still a lovely color, I like it even better than pictured, but the color does variate from the picture (at least to my eyes)!

Estuve buscando varias sandalias para caminar, creo que encontré las perfectas. No las he probado aún pero se ven muy cómodas. Me quedaron muy bien de lo largo y ancho y se ajustan perfectamente a mi pie.
