I bought these for a senior relative who is ill right now and spends a lot of time on the couch. She says the crosswords help her pass the time and are challenging without being too easy. The print is large and easy to read.

Nice variety of large print crossword puzzle books at a great price! They come all together sealed in one package, so excellent for gifting!

So many "Large Print" puzzle books have the puzzle itself in large print, but the numbers in the cells, or the clues, or both, are in normal font. If I could read that, I wouldn't be ordering Large Print puzzle books! Well, this one has big enough cells - bigger than usual, but not extravagantly large, so there's plenty of room on the page for the clues in readable font; the numbers in the cells are also readable. For an experienced crossword puzzler, the puzzles are fairly easy - not New York Times Sunday edition, for sure! (which used to take me all week to finish) - but do require some thought, and cross-referencing between Across and Down to choose the right option when two or more words might fit, so it's not childishly simple. But I worked the first couple in ink (so I could read what I was writing) and completed each in one comfortable session. Since lately I've been working mainly large-print Sudoku and needing 2 or 3 long sessions to complete any of the harder ones, this was a welcome relief.

Excelentes libros de crucigramas de ediciones pasadas. Lo malo es que después de un mes volví a comprar el paquete con la esperanza de recibir ediciones diferente pero todos eran iguales al primer paquete comprado. Si tuvieran más variedad volvería a comprar en el futuro.

Pro: Bargain price. Pro: Fun to complete. Con: Each book contains only 67 puzzles per book while regular Kappa books contain between 98-124 puzzles. Con: At times quite easy. Could Kappa offer Collector's, more difficult, theme Super Saver versions?
