After numerous years of annual replacement of hose lock I decided to switch to Gardena. Amazing product. My friends have min italy and Spain - they fair well in the heat. I don’t leave out in winter (I didn’t with hose lock either).. very please. Easy to use.

Brilliant
Does exactly what it's supposed to do and easier to use than earlier models - once you get your head round the instructions, which I did not find easy. However, definitely worth every penny

Confusing
I use this with the Gardena 6 port distributor and find the setup confusing to say the least. It seems that the ports do not match up with the timing schedules. I have found that port 1 on the distributor relates to time option number 3 for some strange reason. Given you can use the distributor with 2 ports I find this to be weird. I would have thought that timer 1 would work port 1 and so on, but no.

Turn off function for each of the 6 schedules does not work.
It all looked good to start with but then when the weather was changing daily I had to try and turn off schedules and this did not work it still allowed water to flow.
