Puroast Low Acid Ground Coffee, GLP-1 Friendly, French Vanilla, 2.2 LB

Wonderful low-acid coffee; have been drinking this brand for years. Very happy with it. Tastes good.

I’ve been buying this product for a couple years now and it’s my favorite coffee. I used to just order the regular but now that does not seem to be available so I switched to the vanilla which is delicious. Since this is something I drink daily. I wanted a higher end coffee and definitely appreciate the fact that it is low acid and high antioxidant. Unfortunately, the price keeps going up, but I’m willing to pay a little extra for a good coffee..

I have pretty severe acid reflux and am in the process of becoming pregnant (which will only worsen those symptoms), so I was looking for a low-acid coffee with a reasonable price that came in flavours, and this was pretty much the only one that fit the bill. There is a particular brand of coffee that is aimed specifically at pregnant women and the price was so ridiculous I thought it was a mistake at first, so I stopped including anything about pregnancy in my search as found this brand. Unfortunately, there is zero hazelnut smell or taste to the bag I purchased. I don't know if it was mislabeled or a bad batch, but it smells and tasted like a plain very dark roast coffee and that's it. If I were to rate it based on being a plain dark roast coffee, it is just fine. I had to adjust the amount used and method for brewing to get it the way I like it and reduce the burnt taste that sometimes comes with a very dark roast (personally, I prefer a medium roast, but beggars can't be choosers), but once I did that I was able to enjoy it as a plain cup of coffee and did notice that I had NONE of my usual acid reflux symptoms after a cup. I might try ordering the vanilla flavour next to see if there is any taste, or at least smell to it, but for the low acid properties it is at least worth purchasing again regardless of the missing hazelnut flavour. Bottom line, makes an okay (unflavored) cup of coffee and is worth the slightly higher price per pound to have less acid in the coffee.

I have been ordering this for several years now. My absolute favorite coffee. It delivers on taste and cost as well as being stomach friendly.

This coffee has changed my life! I have had issues with acidity and reflux my whole life and have always had to restrict my coffee intake to about half a cup a day. Even witht htat small amount, my stomach still bothered me after about an hour . I love the taste and energy coffee provides and it upset me to think I was going to have to give it up. I only like flavored coffee, so when i saw this on Amazon ,I had the to try the French Vanilla. I got the big bag and i love it! It is so smooth and delicious, and brings no acid to my stomach ..I can now drink 2cups in morning , as well as one in the afternoon if i need a lift. This huge bag will last a long time because i use an expresso machine, so its very economicable .The only improvement would be if they had a creme brulee flavor, because that is my absolute favorite!.

Before I purchase this I read about 20 reviews about halfway bad and half we’re good so I was a little bit skeptical when I made my first pot of coffee. To open the package was almost impossible I had to take a knife and cut through above the seal it is sealed better than anything I’ve ever seen in my life which is probably a good thing but not when you have to get into it as a consumer. I made a 4 cup pot of coffee and use three scoops which I normally do When I open the package I did not have the chemical smell that someone else has stated but there’s definitely a non-smell that is not like the overwhelming Columbian coffee you’re used to. I am sure this coffee is doing everything it should do it’s like in the 60s if you drank a cup of psycho it was pretty horrible but it was good for you. So my plan going forward is this I plan on mixing half the coffee with half of my regular coffee and make a part of that bed as it is now it’s just not drinkable it does not taste like you’re drinking coffee but it taste like you’re drinking some heart unknown beverage that should’ve said Sanka above but Siri doesn’t necessarily know what Santa is :-) but if you’ve ever have it you know what it is it’s when they try to decaffeinated coffee the first time and it didn’t work so well. I’m sure these people work very hard with her plan to produce this product but it’s just not for me the only thing I would’ve liked is if they sold it in an 8 ounce bag or a trial size bag so I could’ve tried it before I go and have to buy the 22 ounce bag which just seems overwhelming. So I told you you can try it maybe you want to do a blind taste test at the house that might be fun make 3 cups One your regular coffee one or 50-50 blend in one the pure stuff it might be a fun family project sort of like the old commercials with Alexa hunting again I’m dating myself when he would taste the coffee again I would just not bother with this again maybe try one of the other products here but I doubt you’re going to find a cup of any low acid coffee that’s worth it’s salt I think that’s basically one of the driving facts of the taste when we drink it so good luck take care and I hope you find something you can enjoy coffee is critical to everyone

Great taste

I have suffered from mouth ulcers for decades now and in the last 5 years it became apparent that the primary instigator was coffee. I effectively gave up coffee about 4.5 years ago. Every now and then I would have a cup and inevitably I would have a mouth ulcer within a day or two. I started to use Puroast about 3 months ago and hey presto, no mouth ulcers. I am not a doctor or allergist so I am not qualified to say why this happened. All I know is that it does not cause a flare up. Btw it tastes great as well. A friend who suffers in a similar way is going to start using Puroast so it will be interesting to see how that goes!

Coffee lover but can’t deal with acidic coffee anymore due to acid reflux.

This coffee has a very burnt flavor. And it was still too high in acid for my acid reflux. I cannot recommend this coffee.
