Polish Handmade Wooden Brass Clad Chest Jewelry Keepsake Box w/ Lock and Key

The quality of this item was great and it looked phenomenal when it arrived. It was a Christmas gift and I was so happy to see that it looked exactly like the photo and felt solid.

Beautiful wooden box. Purchased this as a gift and was very impressed with the craftsmanship.

I got this as a gift for my wife. The workmanship on the box is great.The corners of the lid and the base aligned well and the hinges look like they will last through use. The lock was a little off and may present problems but since we didn't buy this for the security but the looks and the use we are more than pleased. It fits some of her more common worn jewelry nicely and looks good sitting on her make-up vanity. This doesn't look cheap like you may expect to find in a tourist trap, however do not expect an antique type quality. It came to us wrapped securely in the mail. I would definitely buy this again as a gift or even another box for my wife.

Love the look and feel of this box. The detail on the outside is exquisite. However, pay attention to the dimensions, it is a rather small box that will only fit a few trinkets. Also, the key is kind of flimsy. It is a cheaply made lock set and the key is just like a standard thin brass diary key. Cute box though. It looks nice on my bookshelf.

Beautiful! Was looking for something to hold my everyday jewelry but I didn’t want anything too large or tacky looking. This box fit the bill perfectly being slightly larger than my hand in length, it doesn’t take up a lot of room on my dresser but since it is 4-5” deep and wide, it holds everything I need to access regularly with a lined bottom and snugly closing lid. The key works even though it seems more for aesthetics since locking it seems moot....at least in my world. Anyroad, gorgeous functional box with nice detail that’s not overdone. Perfect as a gift!

I basically this to use as a fancy gift box. I have a gift I'm planning to give and wanted to present it in a nice, lined box. I was pretty surprised when it arrived and the quality was way beyond what I was expecting. I thought this was going to be kind of a chintzy, mass produced box made of low quality wood and a lock that just barely worked. But I was completely wrong! This box is beautiful, nicely carved with a really shiny varnished coating. The lock on mine is set perfectly and works great!
