Acqua Di Parma Cologne Spray for Men, 6 Ounce, multi

Acqua di Parma Colonia is my go-to day time scent for Spring and Summer.It starts off a bit powdery but then on the dry down turns into this bright citrusy smell thats hits you first with lemon, bergamot, a little orange, clean, sharp, and unmistakably Italian. It feels like stepping onto the sunlit streets of the Amalfi Coast in a crisp linen shirt, espresso in hand.What I love most is its timelessness. Acqua di Parma Colonia doesn’t chase trends or overpower a room. It sits close, refined, elegant. I feel like Cary Grant when I wear it.Performance isn’t beast mode, but that’s not the point. This is about sophistication, not shouting. It’s a scent you wear for yourself, not for compliments although I get tons of them whenever I wear it which quite honestly surprises me given that its such an old school cologne.

It is lemon water. No matter how much I use the scent doesn't last to the car. It smells a little different than I remember (probably because it is so watered down), but not horrible. It lasts mere minutes. I have been bamboozled. No refunds or returns. Amazon has gotten too large to care about its customers, I guess. I feel like I just used Temu to overpay for this. Buy at your own risk. I wish I could get my money back, but I can't.

Scent:The smell is mesmerizing. This cologne is best used for daytime/casual/everyday wear because it has a refreshing, light scent to it. However, it does tend to wear off after about 2-3 hours. I find that it is a bit pricey (buying for the brand name) versus other colognes I wear. Overall, it’s a great addition to the cologne collection, but the smell is not long lasting.

This is the most unusual cologne I’ve ever worn. When you first put it on it has very heavy citrus notes, quite similar to Chanel for Men. Once the citrus wears away it morphs into this very soft, sexy and unusual fragrance that you’ll catch on yourself moving about. Sadly, it doesn’t last, not more than 30 to 45 minutes. However, during intimate moments your partner will notice that something smells delicious.

I originally thought this was fake. I thought I was comparing it to a sample I got directly from Aqua di Parma, but that sample turned out to be of Colonia Pura (the teeny tiny bottle was so small I could not see the "Pura" on the itsy weeny label). So they were different and since I knew the sample was authentic, this had to be a fake, not so. It is absolutely authentic and so fresh and clean. I got hold of an authentic bottle and it is exactly the same all through the base notes. So no worries there. This is a very fresh clean scent that in the mid notes turns spicey-leather and more masculine from the opening pure and glorious citrus. It then settles in the base notes to musk sandalwood, maintaining that note of masculinity. I don't consider it unisex at all. Some people might get confused because its a little sweet, soapy, clean with some powder scent in the mid notes. But it is definitely masculine in nature. Light but certainly not feminine. I highly recommend it. It is my signature scent. It's tried and true for over a century. Gets their attention subtly, unlike the overpowering sporty/club scents gentlemen fall for these days. That just telegraphs four miles down the road that you are trying to hide your sweat. This Aqua di Parma instead tells them you're clean and fresh all day. It lasts about 6 hours on me. The base note lasts the longest and is the best. Don't go anywhere for the first 15 minutes because you will smell like a lemon grove. :)

Love it! its the only perfume I will buy.
