Yes they’re sheer and light filtering, but for a removable solution, I hand sewed black panels and used grommets and command hooks to hang them behind the blinds. Since we’re using them in our bedroom, we needed extra privacy and sun coverage.They were super easy to install (inside mount method). I used 2 screws straight into our window moulding and the blinds fit right into place.Sizing: the window opening for the double windows is 68cm (forgive me, I don't do well with tape measures and their fractions haha but essentially just shy of 27") and we ordered the blinds in 26.5. They were cut perfectly and accurately at 26.5 and fit beautifully. For the single window, it measures at 27.5" wide and the blinds are 27" so there is a little bit more of a gap on both sides of the blinds. I think we did order the correct size because there are no quarter sizes but because of our window cut out, the gap is more noticeable on the single window.Highly recommend these blinds and if you go to the arlo website, they’ll send you free samples of the color options :) I bought the Tuscan color and they’re a warm medium brown. Can’t say enough good things about these beauties!

I love these shades. However, I have to return. My window opening is 21 1/2. You sell 22 and 20 only.So although I need 3 I bought one as I was in doubt. I chose 22 it is a hair off, cannot use. I re-measured hoping 20 will work. It will be too narrow allowing light and draft into the home. Bummer.They are perfect was so excited to open and be pleasantly surprised. Beautiful shade. I read questions and someone asked can they be cut. Unfortunately not. Even 21 would have been good. You need to carry more sizes. The middle window is 45 1/2 that would be same problem.

I ordered 7 blinds in java deep for my living room. They look great and are easy to use. I had an issue with 2 of them (my fault, nothing to do with the blinds themselves), and the company was quick to respond and help me out. I was nervous about blinds from Amazon, but I'm happy I ordered them.

If you are expecting room darkening shades, then these are not for you. If you want to block out light then these are great. They filter the light and you cannot really see in from the outside. I had priced these at different places and they were usually quite expensive. These are great for the price.Installation went easily as well. I can do one of these in ten minutes or less. The only advice I have for anyone considering these is to measure where you want them placed and be sure when you order. This did not happen to me but I can see how it could happen.The colors are great and they look more expensive than they are. I am very happy with them and am in the process of ordering more.

Seriously I took one look at these curtains and was like how the heck is this gonna work. But if you just glance at the instructions, it really took me a couple minutes to install all together. My little farmhouse kitchen is coming along and these shades are perfect to tie it all together.

These blinds are beautiful. They look much better on windows than traditional blinds. The quality is great and they are easy to use. A bit difficult to install; you definitely need another persons help. They are also a bit sheer so I wouldn’t suggest if you are looking for complete privacy.

I loved these blinds. I ordered them in Tuscon color and the color looks even better in person.Fit my windows perfectly.The bamboo quality is great.I would buy these for another home renovation.Definitely recommend

Beautiful shades. these are beautiful shades they’re a great value for the money that I paid for them they make my windows look gorgeous. The quality is incredible. I installed them on all my windows in my house 15 windows total. And they all match.
