**Q: Is this 48ft long?**
A: In the English language, a double quote " indicates inches; a single quote ' indicates feet. 48 feet is as long as a semi-trailer.  I don't think you want your trailer running wild for 48 feet before the chain stops it.

**Q: Does the 2,000 lb. capacity mean it will support or lift 2,000 lbs. before it breaks?  I would be lifting items, not using it on a trailer.**
A: This chain is not recommended for lifting. The rated capacity for the chain is 2000 lbs.

**Q: Dude not the length - the size of the chain dude**
A: Chain link size:  outside length -  1 3/4"   outside  width - 1"     thickness - 1/4"  
                            inside length - 1 1/4"      inside width - 1/2"  
Hook thickness  3/8"  overall length 4 1/4"

**Q: what is the diameter of the chain link?**
A: The chain links measure 0.209 to 0.220 inches depending on where you measure the link curves.  The average diameter is 0.21-inches.  The chain is rated at 3500-LBs
