These Are a Great Alternative to Using Existing Shower Surfaces for Bottles and Soaps
I bought this shower organizer along with the CasaVia Quick-Dry Hanging Shower Caddy with Dispenser Pockets . We had our tub resurfaced and you cannot sit any shampoo bottles, soap or anything else on the surface, because it could cause the product they used on the tub to bubble or crack. So much for shelf space on my tub! I was desperate for something to use and I absolutely despise the wire racks that hang over your shower head - they are unsightly, will rust and will leave soap and shampoo all over your tub wall, not to mention the mildew that grows behind it (plus, the whole resurfacing issue). I had already bought the Casa Via caddies and needed to replace them. I noticed this Maytex organizer and thought I'd give it a try, too because I liked the Casa Via one so much. The Maytex is actually better in my opinion. The pockets are larger and they hang down longer - more room for storage. I use organic bar soaps for my hair and my body and they are large bars. They fit easily in even the top pockets of this caddy. There is room for everything from the bars of soap, to huge bottles of shampoo (I don't just use the bars for shampoo) and cream rinse, to razors, toothpaste and loofahs. They hang on your existing shower rings so there's no need to buy any additional hardware. The only drawback to the Maytex is they have no plastic hooks like the CasaVia, so you can hang your washcloths or shower puff (or even a razor). They also have no openings at the bottom of the pockets (CasaVia does) for your shampoo and cream rinse (or body wash) tops to sit in. You can then squeeze the bottle while leaving it in the caddy and dispense your soap/shampoo/cream rinse. I thought I would regret not having this feature, but I actually don't that much. Those holes where the soap and shampoo dispense, get all "gummy" with little traces of shampoo and conditioner building up on them, even though it is nice to just squeeze the soap into your hand. One of the best things about these caddies (either brand) is - if they do get scummy with left-over soap and shampoo - you can empty them of their contents and throw them in the washer. You don't even need to dry them (in fact, I don't recommend throwing them in the dryer - I'm not sure if they'd shrink up or not). And I have never, ever had a problem with them molding. And if you have a white shower curtain like I do, I found a pretty inexpensive trick - just buy a second shower rod (a cheap one - no one's going to see it so you don't need to go all out) and a set of the open shower rings (again - inexpensive is just fine here). Then hang your second rod a few inches from the main rod, inside the shower (away from the curtain) and hang your shower caddies on this second rod with your extra set of shower rings. I have dark brown and black bottles of shampoo and conditioner and they are heavy and bulge out of the caddy some. But using this second rod, I cannot see the bottles or their colors even through my white shower curtain. I'm actually glad we had the tub resurfaced now, because it's so much easier to clean the shower and all its surfaces with no bottles or bars of soap to move and the bottles themselves stay much drier and cleaner and my bars of soap don't melt nearly as quickly because they can dry so fast when sitting high up in the mesh caddies away from the flow of water and with air drying them on all sides. Plus, no more pink rings building up on the surface of the tub where the bottles would sit (and where water gets trapped) and no more mildew growing on the little shower shelf, behind whatever bottle I used to sit up there. My products last longer and my tub is cleaner because I use these caddies. Oh, and by the way, when I went to purchase a new set of the CasaVia caddies and this Maytex caddy (my old CasaVia caddies were starting to fray at the ends of the mesh and the bottles were slipping through the dispenser holes, so I figured it was time to get more), Amazon had the little message that appeared up top saying "You last purchased this item on..." It was back in February of 2009! So here we are in July of 2015 (I waited a month to post, because I wanted to be sure the quality was good) and I am only just NOW needing a new one. For the price and the cleanliness and my products lasting longer than they would without using these caddies, I'm pretty sure they've paid for themselves after 6 years of use! I highly recommend these caddies and the CasaVia. Get them both! :)

Tidy, convenient, practical solution for shower products
The easiest way for me to hang this shower organizer was to use the existing shower curtain rings. I use the Clipperton Company NP01-SS Stainless Steel Shower Curtain RollerRings , Set of 12, Chrome that are held together by tension and can be opened by just squeezing on them. The organizer gets a little heavy with several products in the pockets, but the rollers on the curtain rings allow it to move smoothly. There are metal rings around the holes in the organizer to strengthen the areas where it hangs around the shower rings. The tub/shower is much easier to keep clean with bath products stashed in this organizer instead of cluttering up the ledge around the tub. An added bonus is that I can keep scrubs and conditioners in the shower and don't have to remember or plan ahead to use them in the shower. This morning I was feeling itchy from the dry winter air and while in the shower decided to see if a salt scrub might help. (It did). It wouldn't have been available in the shower before installing this organizer.Another bonus is clearing out some of the items stored under the sink or in drawers in the bathroom. Now they are conveniently located and easy to use.The pockets are big enough to hold bottles of Aveno shampoo and conditioner with room to spare in one pocket. I wouldn't want the pockets any bigger.I was a little concerned about mold, but have not had any problem with it in the year that I've been using this mesh organizer. I think the air circulation is good enough that it doesn't stay wet for long.I think I bought this on a whim with a Lightning deal. My only regret is that I didn't know about it sooner. It works much better than the dangle shelf over the shower head or the suction cup plastic holders that always seem to get yucky and loose suction only to fall on my foot.

If you use a shower curtain, GET THIS
My favorite thing about the Maytex Mesh Bath Shower Organizer is that it puts everything in perfect reach. I have mine placed pretty opposite from the showerhead, so nothing's really getting constantly rained on in this organizer. I used to keep all of my shower products along the edge of the tub because I dont really like the idea of using the showerhead as a support mechanism- a use showerheads aren't necessarily rated for.I've tried extendable tension rod shower shelves which were practical, but still not as clean or convenient as this product. And rust has almost always eventually become an issue- a sign that it's time to get a new... whatever you had that was rusting. The shower feels volumes cleaner and less cluttered from using this. Wash it in the laundry if it gets soapy.I live in a two-person home and we share shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. I even keep my washing gloves in the mesh organizer and I can have my dry towel in the shower with me on the washcloth rail. (Which is really great because I always get shampoo and soap in my eyes and have to reach out of the shower for something dry- always leaves water splashes on everything that I blindly reached across.)Size- A lot of people raved about the size in their review and for me, the size is perfect. There's no way I would need anything bigger than this. There's pocket room for at least twice what I have in the organizer: 12oz shampoo, 12oz conditioner, 6oz squeeze bottle of face scrub, 5 oz deep conditioner, 1 razor, and two scrubbing gloves. I also bring a shower hair brush in and out with me per trip. Now while there's easily twice enough room for what I have in the organizer, my shower curtain rod is a tension rod so I wouldnt feel comfortable adding any more weight to it, some people may feel differently depending on what type of rod they have and how sure they are about it's strength.Overall this mesh organizer was a lifestyle change for me. I've used just about every other option in my life and the mesh shower organizer even beats permanent ceramic shelf fixtures.

Simple & awesome shower organizer
Super happy with this. It's such a simple, good idea that I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. I have a shower rack, but it doesn't fit everything I like to keep in the shower, not to mention a lot of things will slide right through the gaps. The pockets on this shower organizer are great for smaller items like razors that constantly slip through the shower rack, or anything that just doesn't fit on the rack. Each pocket is probably large enough for most items you might keep in the shower, but you probably couldn't fit a large economy sized (like 750 mL) cosmetics bottle. An added benefit I didn't even consider when I made the purchase is because the pockets are kept out of the direct stream of the shower, it's great for my water resistant Bluetooth speakers or water resistant trimmer. Also because the pocket organizer is only visible when you're actually standing in the shower, it keeps things looking cleaner and less cluttered when the shower curtain is open.To be honest, in future I would consider just having two of these in the shower (you could probably fit two on most shower curtain rods) and forgoing a shower rack altogether. Shower racks are frustrating and expensive, and I can't really think of a benefit shower racks have that a pocket organizer like this doesn't offer.

Absolutely love this product.
This was a great find for me.... The price is unbelievable for the storage, look and quality of the product. I needed a place to put my sons toys, and honestly the price of a net storage set for children's bath toys it outrageous. At $25 dollars for net storage for children is something I was dreading to have to buy. They had suction cups that I was worried I would be wasting my money on, encase they didn't stick, or were not durable enough, and I hated that they stuck out of the corner of the tiled wall. When I came across this one at that price I just had to buy it, and I wasn't in the least disappointed. It's discrete and holds a lot of items. Since my son is still so young and doesn't use many toys I have used the other slots for shampoo and such, so now it's easier to wipe down the surfaces of the tub after use without having to move every single item to the floor.I will be buying another one of these when he gets older for more storage. It's not large, but holds a lot, and sits nicely near the front of the shower curtain so moving the curtain there is no pull or tug, and it's not in the way. Very good buy!

Great product
Had an idea of putting up a second shower rod on inside wall of bathtub, and hanging a few baskets from it, but then I saw this.Still used a second rod, and put up three of these (household of 3). The keep the tub clean and organized, and so far work perfectly. The pouches are a little on the large side, so items like shampoo & body wash flop forwards, but they don't fall out and it's a minor annoyance compared to the space it saves and convenience. It looks washable, so I'm hoping I will be able to throw it into the laundry to keep it clean.Overall, for the price this is an amazing item. Much cheaper than corner shelves or shower caddies, and does a great job.6 month update. These have held up very well. Still in great condition with no rips or tears, and have held up very well with 3 adults. Cleaning is a breeze, and will recommend them over corner units and shower caddies in a heartbeat. So much cleaner, and easier to move out of the way if they get annoying.

So far so good :)
I've had it for about a week and it seems good. It holds a lot of stuff and nothing has fallen off it, even though we constantly open and close the shower curtains throughout the day. I can't say if it will mold over or what because it's too soon. I haven't put a soap in there either, but it does hold different size and weight bottles for baby and adult shampoos and body wash and so far so good :) It looks like it's good quality and it was easy to attach to our current shower curtains.
