Beautiful watercolor brush!
This silver velvet travel brush is just as versatile and well made for watercolor as normal silver velvet brushes. Just in a travel sized format. I have used these brushes for studio work and so am familiar with them when painting in watercolor. The brush holds a lot of water but also comes to a fine tip when needed. Springs back into shape well and makes beautiful marks! Highly recommend especially if you’re fond of this brand! All the great utility in a travel form!It was shipped in customary protective casing with bristles glued, so you will need to soften the bristles with warm water before painting.

Perfect!
My favorite brush to date. I’ve gone through a few brushes and wish that I’ve forked over that amount of money for these Silvers in the beginning. The point holds true! That, and it holds a lot of water and paint. It’s especially advantageous to thirsty papers. These work perfectly with Arches and rough textured papers.I bought the voyage collapsible brush and it looks classy with the gold trim! The upper portion of the brush (hollow) is extremely light weight and there’s a very slight offset in weight than a regular brush. I’ve been using waterbrushes so I’m quite used to holding fatter brushes, so there can be a difference in comfort when holding the brush compared to a traditionally shaped brush. It fits perfectly into a 12 half/6 full pan tin pallet. I originally bought this for that purpose, however, since I’ve acquired additional paints and adding more half pans in my tin, I could no longer fit the brush. And that’s ok! I like how I can collapse the brush and protect its tip from fraying or splitting. The text on the side of the brush did come off very fast though. I assume it’s because the plastic material wasn’t glazed with anything to protect the printing of the text on it.Overall, I highly recommend these Silver brushes.

Quality brush
I have one of these brushes in a larger size and when I was given some birthday money I decided to invest in a smaller size. They work well for watercolor.

I loves.
I really like this brush, I've had it for almost a year now. I'm looking around for some new brushes, and I thought I'd just leave the review for this one while I'm here.-It holds water well and it has no problem with creating some larger washes.-The brush feels a bit on the softer side, with less of a spring- so I find it a little more difficult to control when trying to use it for detailing.-But the point comes to quite a fine point when wet, so smaller detailing is definitely possible (for what a size 8 brush could do); it just requires more concentration because you have to be very gentle with the touch.-This is a collapsible brush- and recently I've noticed the cap had become very loose to the point there is almost no grip when closing/posting the cap onto the brush. Don't worry, as this can be fixed quite easily by wrapping a thin layer of tape where needed. (I used a washi tape I had around, since they are easily removable if needed)-Minor thing, the white text label/brush description on the brush rubs off very quickly, and it will most likely end up as a totally empty black barrel within the first few days of use. This hasn't really caused me any trouble other than the fact I sometimes forget what the size of the brush is, but it is really not a big deal.-When collapsed, the brush fits well in those standard, 12 half-pan metal tins.-The brush is quite slim. When holding in hand, it almost feels like a regular wooden pencil, but a little bit wider.-With the cap posted, the length of brush is a little over 7 inches (around 18cm) and is comfortable to hold.-Material is kind of like a smooth metal all over, and there is no separate grip material. It can feel a teensy bit "slippery" at times (for a lack of a better word). I don't usually get sweaty hands so I couldn't say for sure, but it does feel like it could be an annoyance during those situations.I think this one is a nice one to have, especially if you are looking for a brush to carry around.

Great brushes
Love these brushes. However it is not a tight fit when you put it together. Tends to fall out. I fixed this by putting a little bit of washi tape around the barrel.

Really nice travel brush
This is a really nice travel brush - it holds a lot of water/paint, keeps its shape, and has a very nice point that allows for great control over line width. I just wish that they came in more sizes for the travel version. Feels good in the hand, probably the best feel in a travel brush that I've seen so far. They are slim handled brushes, so they fit well into smaller plein air watercolor tins and the brush sits snugly into the cap/handle portion. My only complaint would be that they only come in limited sizes for the travel version.

Excellent travel brush with razor sharp tip
I own several brands of round watercolor brushes, and a few different brands of rounds. I think this brush is better than most of them! It holds a good amount of water per load, and releases it slowly. I love the travel feature - the bristles do not become trapped in the lid in any way!! My favorite part about this travel brush is the way they tie the bristles - it has a good-sized head. Most importantly, the tip is so fine that it allows very fluid and super thin lines. It holds about the same amount of fluid as opposed to my brushes in the same size. But the fine tip is what made me grab another brush by Silver!

Soft brush, holds water well.
I had to return the Size 4 (which I actually preferred more because the tip was stiffer) but kept the 8 because I can get a nice line with that one too. The handle on the #4 was too loose and came apart after a few days of use so that’s why I returned it. I will stick with the Escoda Brand as their travel brushes are very well made and the metal connections are tight. Keeping the 8 for now.

Best travel brush ever. Love it.
Holds water well has a very very fine tip if you need it but can also do a wash. Extremely versatile. With one or two sizes of this you would not need any other brushes. I highly recommend this brush

Excellent quality, super fine tip for detailed work.
I wanted quality round brush, but with a very fine point, and this definitely fitted the bill.

Qualité au RDV
Je suis très très contente de ce pinceau. Je voulais un bon pinceau pour ma boite d'aquarelle pour l'extérieur et je ne pense pas pouvoir trouver mieux. Je recommande.

I'm obsessed with this brush
I didn't expect it to be as soft as it is but it's still lovely and very enjoyable to paint with.
