Not a fan of this trap. I purchased this trap along with two others in the days before our trip to the lower keys for Spring Break. It arrived quickly and the construction seemed good for what it was. It's a decent size but was not ideal for the tidal currents we faced. The netting was more cloth like, making it better maybe for catching smaller fish and crabs, but also catching the current and made getting to the bottom impossible without adding a lot of weights. By morning the net was absolutely covered and clogged with organic debris and silt. At 1st we didn't think it had caught a single thing (not good compared to the 6 stone crabs we had in one of the other traps we had bought, during the same soak time), but almost learned the hard way that we had caught one small stoney. It blended in perfectly with all of the debris and almost took my finger off as I was reaching in to remove the weights that we had to add to get it to the bottom. Needless to say I didn't bother to clean it up and put it back out for a second night. Might work better in areas with still waters without current, but I have not tried it again due to the mess that it becomes as stuff clings to the netting.

You’ll use it once or twice and the minute you catch any fish youll be mad because this thing will have holes all in it. Buy the good metal traps not this cheap net junk you’ll regret it trust me….

Great product for the price. My dad is an avid fisherman and was excited to use his new nets, as long as you clean up and store it properly. They are a good product and simple to use with a easy zip-up or zip-down collapsible feature that withholds its shape and is durable.

The bait holder broke off, it is not super strong nylon but works as it should. Light duty compare to others. We only used it during summer months, still good buy for the money.

I thought this was a little cheap and flimsy . I wouldn’t buy again.

This trap worked as advertised. It's a little too light for rougher water but was easily fixable with a weight tied to the bottom. Will probably order 1 or 2 more for summer crabbing with the kids.

Didn't come with no instructions so I messed up the first one I took apart because I cut the wrong zip ties that hold it together.

Bought these to take on a camping trip. They worked wonderfully. Just put in some bread, chips, dog food, or anything fish might eat and you’ll catch bait!
