Fun toy but flimsy
The rod doesn't have a hard stick into the base, it's great for different play styles but if you're seeking the BASE play of teaching your child to put the gear at the top watch it twirl then MANUALLY have them twirl it back up, no go. I really wanted to teach my son that physical movement and have him see that by him manipulating the object he can get it off himself. But since the rod comes off SO EASILY he doesn't have to do any work, they'll all fall off the rod cause the base doesn't stick to the rod. So he just pulls the stick off and plop plop plop. Don't get me wrong, it's still fun and you can do different games by removing the rod. Thus 4 stars. However if it could have a harder stick then it would've been perfect.

Not durable but fantastic fun!
This is NOT as durable as the brand-name product. However, it's so much fun! My daughter (13 m) loves putting the rings on the post and watching them spin as they fall down. It's great for hand-eye coordination! She tries to put the ring on with two hands instead of putting one hand on the post to hold it steady. I look forward to her continuing to enjoy it for several years, though I don't know if it will make it that long. It seems like if a ring gets underfoot, it will end up crushed. Fortunately/unfortunately, the post seems the same - likely to bend in half and not fully straighten again, but at least not likely to impale my kid.

The stick is too long
The stick is a bit too long to small children I found that they can stumble on it and hit their eyes adult monitors or supervision should be available during play time

Very cool
Grandkids loved them! I played with it was very cool to watch it spin down the pole

Disappointed in quality of toy.
This item was purchased to be used as a gift for a one-year-old. I felt the quality was cheap and chose not to use it as a gift.I'm not much of an online shopper for this very reason - it's hard to tell the quality of something through pictures.I would recommend finding a different brand of this type of toy.The item came in a very timely manner and was packaged well, so that was good!

Cheap but you get what you pay for
Bottom broke within 24 hours. It’s cheap plastic so if the child is rough with it, it will break easily. Luckily it was just the stand itself so our toy is fully functional still but I wouldn’t not buy this again. I’ll be replacing with a better brand for Christmas because this was made so cheaply

Not the best brand but a fun toy
I had one of these awhile ago that my dog chewed up, decided to replace it with this cheaper version. My one year old enjoys it, but the rod is very easy to bend, so I have to watch him so he doesn’t ruin it.

Cheap looking but great entertainment
It’s way way better than regular one. My son didn’t like regular one, but this one spins so it’s more fun and entertaining. They kind of look cheap but it does it’s job.
