My son loves his 3D pen and i can't keep the filament in Stock. It gets very expensive, so I was happy to find this at a great price. My only complaint was that the dark blue was melted in the middle. It didn't matter that much since it's going ti get melted anyway

I actually purchased this filament "sampler" to use on my Ender 3 printer. I had a project that required several small ABS parts in different colors, and this was perfect. Saved me from having to buy several full spools of ABS, just to use a few feet from each. I didn't have any brittle filament in the batch I received - Every single color worked flawlessly.

It came in brittle, but I purchased it for my 3d printer (recommended purchase), I should have read the description better. If brittle filament that snaps easily is good for a 3d pen, then this may be ok. Terrible for a 3d printer.

I bought this set for my grandson who had received a 3D pen and quickly went through all the filament it came with. By the time he got here, he only had one color left from his original supply.This set was great! It worked perfectly and he was really happy. It included more than I imagined it would. He made me two boxes that will be holiday ornaments this year. If his pen, and his interest, holds up.. I will buy another set, and will buy it from this company. Not a bad way to get some different colors to test out for not much scratch. There isn't enough of each to print anything substantial, but the price is right for the variety. Recommended if you're just starting out or if you are looking for some add-on colors to augment your filament stash.Note: If you have a Davinci 1.0 printer (and probably the 2.0 as well), the transparent-color filaments will not work without modifying your printer.

First off This is a REAL review-- Unlike most of Amazon's bogus reviews, I did NOT get a free or discounted sample, so you can actually trust this review.I recently bought my 9 year old daughter a generic 3d pen on Amazon and decided to get her some extra filaments; these Hatchbox filaments seem to be the right price with lots of solid reviews. Out of most the reviews I read, only a handful said anything about the odor these filaments emit once heated, so I thought they must extra sensitive people to such things and went ahead with the purchase. Well, let me say there is not only an unpleasant odor with these filaments, it could better be described as TOXIC fumes. After a few minutes of use, our craft room (which is 15' x 15') was filled with fumes that caused my daughter to start complaining of a head ache, and gave me nausea as well. This, in my opinion is an unsafe product that has somehow escaped testing and subsequent regulations for child safety. I have already requested a refund, but nevertheless am compelled to share this information to prevent harm to other children who may be unfortunate enough to experience this. After some simple internet searches it seems this is a problem with ABS filaments, but not so much with PLA filaments (which were the filaments included with our 3d pen... we never had this fume issue with the PLA filaments). Until ABS filament gases are proven safe to inhale by small children (yeah, right) I suggest you DO NOT buy these or any other ABS filaments, and stick to using PLA in a well ventilated area.

These HATCHBOX 1.75mm 12 Color Sample Pack ABS 3D Pen Filaments work well in my 3D pen. The wide variety of colors give me a lot of options when making designs or patching print errors in figurines produced from my 3D printer.Highly Recommended!CFH

This was an excellent "Sampler" Pack for a person looking to find new plastic to print with. I use a basic test shape that shows a variety of the common conditions, and each mini-spool is perfect to finish one shape. Hatchbox seems to be a very quality plastic for a reasonable price. Thus far they have stood out as a reliable producer of 3D Printing Plastic.
