great alternative to regular saw dust as much less dusty. I mix with paper bedding for my Syrian hamster and it holds up burrows well. decent price for the amount I use.

This stuff is wonderful and soft for my animals there’s so much product for price and comes in a nice medium sized bag so easy to store what’s not needed for changing over, smells natural which is great for pet’s definitely helps keep them happy , low low dust I would say not visible in the air when unpacking

I felt I must leave a review for this, a great quality product, so much better for my snake, does not flatten easily like the basic type you buy branded for reptiles, far less dust than my previous brand and a very clean dry smell. Great value, the packaging looked small and felt light, but upon opening I realised its very compacted and lack of dust equals pure wood shavings only, very impressed by this and highly recommended.

I've tried a few beddings, I used kaytee's paper bedding for sometime until I saw my rabbit nibbling it. It's less dusty then other beddings I've brought (there's only a little) and goes a longer way then other wood and especially paper beddings I've used. I do put some paper litter at the bits she tends to wee the most in and it does the job pretty well. I like how you get a little postcard and a smiley face on the box, it's very sweet. It is a bit more expensive then other beddings I've used but does seem better quality.

I use this product in the bottom of my Parrotlet and Parakeets cages and they both love it. They like pushing it about and covering their heads in it. It’s far safer and softer than pine shavings, which I understand can be toxic to parrots when wet. So I’m really happy that Aspen shaving are less harmful and as I said my birds love it. A bit expensive but my birds are worth it.

it smells so strong of chemical, it is sharp and makes my hamster sneeze, please go for the niteangel one.

Came nicely packaged with a nice little note. I use this as the bottom layer for my Syrian’s substrate and she loves it!

the quality is lovely but it’s extremely expensive for what it is and the amount you get. would recommend if you have a small cage/hutch that doesn’t need to be cleaned out very often but if you have a pet with a larger cage/hutch that needs lots of bedding to burrow in, such as a hamster, you’re probably going to end up spending much more money than you think you will
