For the price, these are a good value for your basic wireless microphone needs.Sound quality: decent, but there seems to be a muffled or compressed quality so it doesn't sound extremely clear to me. I played with the EQ settings on my separate mixer to try and brighten the sound. Speech is clear enough. If you're using this over background music, you may have tweak the gain and EQ on a separate mixer.Gain/Volume Control: easy to learn how to adjust, but it may take some experimenting to figure out a comfortable level. If not adjusted prior to usage, clipping can happen. It took me some time to discover which levels are good for me.Battery Life: if not constantly adjusted and turned off/on, these should last at least 2-3 events averaging 4-5 hours each. That said, I do recommend bringing spare batteries in case they die earlier than expected.Overall, not bad for the price, and keep expectations to amateur/casual events. I would reserve higher end wireless microphones for more formal and professional settings.

I am extremely pleased with these microphones! I bought them as a cordless option for our church, and they work great. Setup and connection were a breeze, making it super convenient. EXCELLENT !! Mics where really easy to set up. Very well made and has a professional feel. I ended up returning the item because I bought an amp that came with mics, but sadly not as good. I highly recommended it

Easy set up. Durable but not so loud

These microphones worked nicely in our karaoke setup until one day the receiver would not power on. This seems to be a common problem based on other reviews.Really a shame to throw away two perfectly working microphones because of the receiver so I opened it up and quickly learned the little LiPo battery inside was dead. Tried temporarily connecting a healthy battery in its place and discovered the charging circuit was bad (no current supplied to the battery when 5V USB connected).I managed to save it from the trash can by wiring up an external battery holder for an 18650 cell and powering it that way. Just have to pop the cell out when we aren't using it because there is a parasitic draw that will drain it otherwise.UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer about the problem, and after sending pictures showing that the receiver will not charge, they sent a replacement under warranty, and I received it in less than a week despite it being right around the Christmas rush. I'm impressed by their prompt response. I plan to use it and just keep my crudely repaired one as a backup.
