Exactly as advertised - I have a backyard shooting range, where I shoot a Hatsan Hercules Bully, PCP Airgun from about 20 yards. My airgun shoots a 21 grain, 22 cal pellet at about 1150 fps (ya, it's a beast). I had made a backstop out of 16 ga steel but, it was getting tore up and, it would never withstand a 22 long rifle round. The steel I used was ~$30 or so so, to replace it was adding up. Also, i was getting a smattering of pellet debris everywhere. This Highwild trap stops my pellets dead, with not even a dent in the backstop and, it catches most of the debris. It's cheaper than me constantly replacing my home made back stop and I see this lasting a lot longer. Also, the ability to clip up targets easily is a big plus. It's also small and light enough to be easily portable/movable. I love this bullet trap and see it lasting a long time. FYI: The actual "shootable" target area is about 10" h x 11" w and it's super, SUPER simple to assemble, out of the box. Review: Good Trap - Ok, got this for my Co2 air rifle. So it's worked great. With BB's @430fps they just make a small little splat mark on the steel, (takes the paint off) even at 10yds. Will try 22lr at 30 - 50yds soon. Pro's, It works just as it's supposed to. For the $$ well worth it Con's, the clip holding the cardboard is only Ok, actually not a great system. I've found that just cut a piece of cardboard that fit's over the whole (entire) front of the trap, then tape it to the trap. Tape target on and you are set. I stopped using the clip completely after a BB at 10yds mashed part of it. I have it mounted on a four-foot 2 x 4 with the separately ordered base and top mounting fitting. The whole assembly weighs 30 pounds. The supplied backer board fits snug around the edges, containing the lead pellets from a .177 air gun. I wish Highwild or a third party sold replacement backer boards, as they get damaged pretty badly after a few hundred rounds. I contacted Highwild, and they said they didn't offer replacement parts. The pellets hitting the metal are very loud. I live in a condo and must be mindful of disturbing the neighbors. I'm installing acoustic foam panels on the outside and rubber Gorilla seal tape on the inside, which should deaden the ringing sound.
