501 Grammar and Writing Questions: Fast, Focused Practice (501 Series)

Great book for kids to prepare before school

Reading comprehension and vocabulary are not the focus of this book and this book alone cannot bring the middle school child to the point of writing essays. Assuming one understands those limitations, I found this book excellent to review strong sentence and paragraph construction for a middle school child. While it may be remedial or review material for a highschooler, I think it's too low for the average SAT student.

I love this book it help you pass the ged test. I would recommend buying it.

As written before for a similar book on vocabulary, this is a good way to have your kids review things when there is some time. They read the essay presented and answer question and correct the grammar. Do at your pace when there is spare time. Assign your kids couple pages at a time.

The exercises in this book provide instant answers and explains why one answer is better than another. Your grammar and writing will improve by using this book.
