Hasbro Gaming Monopoly: Marvel Avengers Edition Board Game, Ages 8 and Up

I’m a monopoly fan and a marvel fan, so it’s easy to like.I do want to leave a review for anyone on the fence or that just likes to see reviews.It’s a wonderful game for adults that want to get the satisfaction of playing monopoly and teaching their children the fundamentals because if the kids are marvel fans, they can get excited about the characters and the idea of fighting Thanos’ children although it’s just dice rolling and luck of the draw.I love the pieces, the gameplay and pretty much everything.You really get the best of both worlds with this game.You can even enjoy with adults who have been fans and it won’t take as long to teach it to each other.I found a winner for personal battles and future game nights.I hope everyone who buys it enjoys it as much as I do.

Wow! It really just added some great elements to one of the longest board game there could possibly be. The infinity gauntlet spaces work perfectly and make this a far better monopoly than the many I have. Also, the children of Thanos spaces are truly a hit; they made tension and (more) excitement part of the game. However, two factors that take this down a little bit (not enough to give it 4 stars) is that there are way too many tokens when the game is specifically designed for 6 players and there are twice that number, which could have really been fun if expanded on that idea just like Super Mario Party did with the allies, they became an instant hit and a more than welcome addition. The other factor is that unlike the Game of Thrones and Star Wars Edition monopolys the hotels and houses are not customized to fit with this edition which takes away a little of the immersion into the Avenger’s world that the game clearly tries to recreate, and successes on it; for the most part.It really is a great addition to game night, would highly recommend it!

The media could not be loaded. This is the best game ever, if you’re addicted to Marvel or the avengers and you’re in love with the whole crew, this monopoly game is the best ever. If you have any concerns about if it’s good enough or if it will actually match the standards of normal monopoly game board, and exceeds them. It’s just like a normal monopoly game, but instead it was a little characters being kind of flimsy plastic these are strong and thick. They literally have every character you can think of on the board and they use real life events for the question cards that happened in the movie. If you like marvel or anything I’m telling you by this game. I literally play it all the time!!!

This isn't a review of the game play because my grandson collects unopened Monopoly games so we've never actually played it. However, he was delighted when I gave it to him! He was really impressed with the character pieces and appreciated that it was wrapped in plastic not just with tape holding the top of the box to the bottom. It arrived in perfect shape. Good job Amazon. Perfect for a collector!

Ya'll made reviews that sounded like it was a totally different game. It's Monopoly! You roll dice, you go to jail, you buy squares and collect fees. The main difference is that you collect hero cards instead of properties. The railroads are also gone, which nobody misses, and you have battles on those squares instead. It sounds lame but it's the best part! The game still takes forever but it's a twist on a classic game and we enjoyed playing.

Enjoyable game but fans will be disappointed the primary Avengers are only represented in the game by player tokens and not on the game board itself. Not sure why when they are depicted on the box (probably to generate sales sadly) but essentially the board spaces are secondary heroes, mostly recognizable, you "recruit" instead of them being properties although strangely you still build houses & hotels. Kinda weird but OK. The player tokens are metal & large but its somewhat hard to tell who is who as the details are limited. The Hulk & Iron Man are the only ones I'm sure of. It would have been nice if the instructions identified them so you could play as your favorite, in my case, Black Widow. The game plays mostly like traditional Monopoly with some exceptions I won't spoil. Chance & Community Chest cards are also different and very clever and can elicit some chuckles. I think Marvel fans will enjoy this game. Thank-you.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cool game pieces that are actually shown with an open window on front of the box...so if you're a collector you don't have to break the seal to see them. Very cool.
