I haven't attempted to put them in the dishwasher yet. We've had them a few months now and they still work as well as they did when we bought them. I'd suggest washing them well and maybe boiling water in them before you actually use them. They have a bit of a smell the first couple of times you use them but it goes away. They've chipped a little on the top edges but I haven't had any scratches. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for good quality non stick pans. I hope they make any updated versions stackable. That's about the only thing that would make them perfect Upon updating to a glass stovetop, I would not recommend these for a glass stovetop. They were great on an electric coil range but food is sticking a lot with the glass top. With that being said, after a year of use, hand washing, and silicone utensils, they have a few chips around the top rim, but not in the pan. They have held up well. I would highly recommend them, much better than Teflon, ceramic, or stainless steel.
