Can this pump be mounted vertically?

Have three horizontal how ever I don't see why it couldn't function that way as long as the draw tube is submerged.

Will this replace a high flow model 5277980

I purchased the pump to replace the high flow pump that originally came with my sprayer. This pump is better than what came with the sprayer and has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend its purchase.

How do you get replacement fittings? Mine broke on day 3.
