Best. Doll. Ever!!!
I bought this doll for just over retail-$25-and it was so worth it. Twyla is one of my favorite dolls so far. She is the daughter of the Boogeyman and Howleen's BFF, so she is her age and size. She wears a purple shirt with elbow-length sleeves, vertical stripes that have spiders and dots, a black collar, and black ribbon tied at the bottom of the collar. Her skirt has alternating ruffles of purple fish-net and black with mint swirls. Twyla's accessories include silver doorknob earrings (she does go into normie kids' rooms to eat their nightmares), mint belt with spider design, three bangles (one black and two purple), and a mint bracelet with a dream-catcher skull and spiders hanging off of it. Her shoes are purple, almost sneakers, with mint laces and spiders hanging off of them, and black swirls for heels. The only strange thing about the clothes is that the skirt is sewn so that if you lift the ruffles, they are only held together with purple fish-net. Her pet, Dustin, a dust bunny, is purple with a button eye. He is the cutest thing ever and he has a startled expression, making him even cuter. Twyla also comes with a purple purse with another skull-shaped dream-catcher on the front. Like all of the 13 wishes dolls, Twyla includes a diary, which is hilarious and shows some of her uniqueness (ex. favorite color=blurple, a mix of blue and purple, she's afraid of vacuum cleaners, etc.). This doll has several special features which make it worth the extra money. Her eyes glow in the dark, she has swirls painted on her legs in gray, and her hands/lower arms are gray as well. Her hair did shed a bit when it came out of the box, so I try not to brush it that much. She is also very detailed everywhere, my favorite thing about her, and if you look at the purse, you'll see a design in the background. Even the box is so pretty, I considered for a moment getting another one to keep it in the box. I gave this doll 5 stars in "Educational" because this line of dolls really teaches you that it's okay to stand out and be different, or as the Monster High motto says, "Be yourself, be unique, be a monster." The only confusing thing was that on the box, it says a different age than her diary does. I think it's just a typo, though. This doll is one of the most original and unique ones, without a doubt, and it's a must-have for everyone. She has that aspect of a boogeyman with all of her accessories (ex. spiderweb dream-catchers, a dust bunny as a pet, doorknob earrings, etc.). Just a note about the seller, though: If you buy from Toy Crazes, the estimated arrival date is much later than the product actually comes. My doll came in about 1.5 weeks, and it was not scheduled to come until 7/24. (I ordered it on 6/26.) As usual, look at stores and do not pay high prices, as I have seen this doll everywhere at Target. I can see more 13 wishes dolls in my future, naturally, as these are the new hot dolls, and they are so amazing.

Amazing!!!
I got my Twyla on amazon and loved it !!! The only thing is that the seller of this took about a two months to come in. Her pets name is Dustin and he is a dust bunny. ( She found him outside blowing in the wind one day so she rescured and adopted. He has a button for one eye and the other is some kind of lint or so. He is light purple and is appromently 2 inches Her hair is a shade of neon green and has purple and blue streaks in her hair. Her bangs go down to her eyebrows. She has dark neon eyebrowns. Her top eyelash is Black and her bottom eyelash is purple. Her eyes are pink and purple and the best part is that they glow in the dark!!!! She also has a glossy pink lipstick. For her earings she has a door lock and the bar. She has a bracelet that is a light neon green and has a skull with spiders creeping up it. On her other hand she has three bangles and they are light purple and a black one. She has a light neon green belt that has spiders and a skull. Her outfit is a two piece and her top is purple with blacks spiders creeping up. It also has a collar with a bow coming down. Her sleves come down instead of a short or long sleve. Her skirt has a black waistpart and has a swirly pattern then purple mesh or tule. This goes on for about 3 times. She has purple and black shoes. The laces are a light neon green and the heel part is black and has a swirly pattern. She has light purple skin and has a light gray pattern coming up from her hands and feet. She is also the size of Howleen Wolf. She also has a black, purple, and light neon green purse.

Twyla is adorable...so much better than I expected
Twyla has been one of the dolls that I had a super hard time getting. Finally when she became available on Amazon for $19.99 I snapped her up. I was excited about Twyla from the stock picture but when she arrived I was even more impressed with how adorable she is. Twyla is a smaller sized doll (the same size as Howleen). The thing I like the most is the spider and web theme she has throughout her outfit and accessories (I didn't even notice it on the stock pictures). Twyla's hair is mostly seafoam green with stripes of cobalt blue and a very few thin dark purple stripes. It is slightly wavy with blunt cut bangs. Her skintone is a beautiful shade of lavender except for her hands which are metallic grey that fades out as it goes up her forearm towards her elbow. She also has wispy metallic grey designs on her lower legs. Her eyes are really lovely being mostly pink and purple and having larger black pupils (I imaging these enlarged pupils come from her need to see in the dark. That is a very clever attention to detail on the part of the designer). Her makeup is minimal but it works for her. Her upper eye has black eyeliner and eyelashes with her lower eyeliner and eyelashes being purple. She has a line of lavender painted under her lower eye but it is so close to her skin color you can hardly detect it. Her lips are a stunning shade of metallic mauve. Her eyebrows are green which stands out nicely against the color of her skin. Her 3/4 sleeve top is a dark purple with black stripes down printed on it with little spiders dotted along the stripes. The shirt has a black collar with a bow tied at the front. Her three tiered skirt is a mix of a black background with a seafoam green swirl design with a purple tulle ruffle sewn at the end of each tier. Her belt is seafoam green plastic with a skullette right at the center, and dangling down from the skullette is a small spider. Her earrings are light metallic silver escutcheons with little doorknobs and even a keyhole. On her left wrist she wears two thin lavender and one thin black bracelet. On her right wrist she wears a seafoam green bracelet that has a spider web that is shaped like skullette with three tiny spiders hanging from that. Her adorable dark purple kisslock purse features a black strap, intricate molded scrollwork and a light green skullette shaped web with five minatures spiders dangling from the web painted on the front. Her shoes are dark purple oxford style pumps with green laces with spiders at the ends and and a black scrolled heel and platform. Her pet dust bunny Dustin is also very cute. He is lavender with a little pink nose, a grey button for a right eye, and a green stitch for a left eye. His little ears are standing up and he has the cutest surprised expression. He is quite large, (in fact I think other than Nightmare he is probably the largest MH pet so far). Twyla comes with a black stand and brush and her diary. Overall I think Twyla is a fantastic addition to any monster high collection.

Twyla - Burple and Dust Bunnies
Twyla looks quite different than pictured. In person, my overall impression of Twyla is that she is less cutesy and has more of an intense/forlorn presentation that is appropriate for a monster like her: The Daughter of the Boogey Man. Twyla is all moonlight and shadows - her main colorways are a waxy mint green and her favorite color burple (which according to her is blue mixed with purple). Twyla's skin is a very light purple which gradually changes to smoky gray on her forearms and hands. She has silvery smoke patterns that start at her ankles and reach up her calves. Twyla has purply-pink eyes, frosty pink lips and cute little dimples at the edge of her mouth. I love her bright mint green eyebrows and her long soft minty green hair with burple streaks. As others have mentioned, a fun thing about Twyla is that the whites of her eyes glow in the dark! (I thought her hair might glow as well, but sadly, no.) Twyla is a new character - she is 15, shy, and hides under "normie" kid's beds to catch bad dreams. She has the best Monster High Pet yet: a purple dust bunny named Dustin. Twyla is one of the smaller scale MH dolls - the same size as Howleen Wolf. She wears a blue and black elbow length blouse and a tiered black and mint mini skirt with purple net ruffles. Her accessories are a mint green belt and bracelet, a purple and black handbag with a cobweb and purple and black heels. Her best accessories are her silver earrings that are a silver Victorian style door knob and lock-set. She comes with a doll stand, hair brush and diary. I know a lot of collectors are excited about Twyla and the new 13 Wishes Doll line. Twyla is a great original new character. Monster High does not disappoint.

Check out her glowing eyes...
Found this just in time for my nieces bday who loves monster high. When she opened the box , I kept thinking that there was something about the belt and her hair that led me to believe she might glow . So we put her under the light for a few seconds and then shut out the lights. Her belt and hair didn't glow, but her eyes did ! To be honest, it was kind of freaky. I had to keep telling my niece that she's good and takes away bad dreams. Still, I thought it was cool Her hair is kind of dry looking- guess she doesn't get any moisture under the bed :) every time my niece brushed her hair, pieces came out so my sister finally coaxed her to let poor Twyla's scalp have a rest. She is a smaller doll but she's cute. Other than the dream thing , don't really see how she's the daughter of the boogeyman. The other dolls all seem to have better inspiration re their monster roots do its a shame that this one was kind of lacking. Wait for the cheaper price- dont pay over retail.

She's Adorable!
I bought Twyla to start my MH doll collection and couldn't be more pleased. I got her a day earlier than estimated, which was a pleasant surprise. The detail in these dolls is pretty impressive, and they are extremely pose able; making them good collectors items. Her doll stand is also very sturdy, her shoes are very cute, and so is her little dream catcher purse she comes with. The details on her arms and legs make her appear a shadow like figure; as she is the daughter of the Boogeyman. Perhaps the coolest thing about Twyla is that her eyes glow in the dark. My only complaint is that her hair has a bit of breakage and it falls out while brushing it. Don't worry; it's nothing severe, just a few hairs here and there. None less, I am very happy with this purchase and will be adding more soon.

So Pretty
I am 47 years old, and I bought her for me. :) I don't actually play with her. I just find the series so appealing, and if they had them out when I was a kid or even a teen, I would've snatched up one of each. She sits next to me on my desk while I write. I chose Twyla because she's the daughter of the boogeyman, and I like creepy things. My screen shows her skin as white with gray wisps and her shoes and purse as blue. In person, her skin is lavender and the shoes and purse are purple. So much prettier than what I thought. I had a bit of a struggle getting her left arm to bend. It kept coming off, but eventually I was able to bend it. A lot of care went into it because I didn't want to break it. As for her hair. Ugh! Why do they put gunk in it? My daughter, who also bought a Twyla and a Elisabat, brushed out her hair, then dunked it (bangs and all because they were super stiff) into hot water. It removes whatever they have in it. She said to make sure the water isn't boiling, just hot. Then you brush the hair how you want it to look after it dries. She has to stand up, the hair untouched, until it dries. If you keep messing with it while it dries, it'll be frizzy. I left her over night, and the next day, it was gorgeous. I have her a hair cut cause the ends weren't to my liking. It's waist-length now, with super cute blunt edges. And yes, I put all this effort into a doll that just sits (literally) on my desk. :P

Unacceptable.
This is just awful, first off when I was pulling this out of the mailbox, I had to fight and fight with it because the driver really crammed it in there, to the point of breaking the box. The manufacturer also neglected the package by putting it in a bag, instead of a sturdy box. Iām very disappointed and as a collector, this piece was a dream of mine. The box is ruined and the value has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY. I will not be buying from this retailer again. Way to ruin a great thing.. $150 for what? For garbage, it saddens me that they stopped producing these dolls and this is how one of them ends up š DO BETTER šš
