Does it have a electrical reset? Used it for about a month but one day it just stopped working

I looked all over my unit today, and I could not find an electrical reset button. I am sure you are aware of the on - off switch/handle located on the right hand side of the unit. By chance is your unit plugged into a GFCI Outlet? I have had lots of problems with those.

Can i use a 2000w generator to run this compressor?

I have never tried it so I don’t know.
