PACRP4-AD11 Radiopro4 Stereo Replacement Interface with Steering Wheel Controls for Select Audi Vehicles with Canbus

The description is unclear, but this kit includes a complete stereo wiring harness. It retains your factory steering controls, in addition to the other functions, such as door chimes, that are run by the factory head unit. The instructions are not the best. It allowed me to install a new double din stereo in my 2008 Audi a4. The only other pieces you need are the stereo, trim kit and radio connector.

Technically it works but ease of install is give as star. The instructions are 1 paragraph long. The function for backup camera burned up in about 5 min. The audio had a ton of ground noise. Had to end up purchasing line output conversion to fix. All in all, it technically worked but it took a long time to figure out, I had to buy more parts and I still did not get all the functions advertised.

Worked perfectly for my Audi

Works great, paired with a JVC KW-V650BT it is a great upgrade to my 2010 A3. The steering wheel controls work well and sound quality improved from the original stereo. The instructions are a bit unclear on which wires to use during install on newer Audi models when using the larger of the two included plugs. Adapted from the competing Axxess interface:If your car has BOSE system (logo on the door speakers): do not connect any of the normal speaker wires, use the four RCAs.If your car does not have BOSE system: connect the white and grey (front) speaker wire pairs, and connect the green and purple RCAs (rear) only.

I liked that I could quickly hook it up and retain the steering wheel controls. However, I have lost the rear sub and rear speakers. I was the installer, an 8 year certified dealership technician, and I cannot find any resources online and made it quite a pain. If you dont care about rear sound then awesome, but if you want to retain the amount of sound you started with with the factory radio then maybe get a different brand.

Everything was there (lots more then just what is pictured). Worked great for my 05 Audi a4 (good for b6 and b7) with Symphony radio. Would recommend.
