L O V E I T !!
The media could not be loaded. Ok, so I went the cheap road last month and purchased a rather cheap sub-$100 Paper folder Sparco (SPR18726) and through a ream of paper, 1/3 folded. 1/3 destroyed and 1/3 paper airplaned (Folded incorrectly) and honestly I could have folded faster myself.Promptly Returned it and read a LOT of reviews for other folders before getting a 2nd. We went the Sub $200 route with this Techko folder and LOVE IT!THIS unit, has YET to mis-fold or eat a single page after 600+ sheets. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! And FAST!We've put as many as 77 pages in top feeder and flawlessly took and folded every one. (Says it can handle max of 80)I shot a video of it in action in pictures area.Yes, it is a little loud, but in the back office, doesn't bother a soul up front.---UPDATE 5/15/13 THOUSANDS of sheets later, still going strong!---UPDATE 9/13/13 THOUSANDS MORE have been fed through! It is sounding, at times, like... how would Simon put it?... Like a Cat being thrown out the window. But in the end, it does the job. May need to place some 3-in-1 oil in some gears.---UPDATE 2/13/14 THOUSANDS MORE! It is sounding a little rough now. And I think it has about a couple thousand to go. If it dies... I've MORE Than gotten my money's worth in LABOR ALONE!!!! Will buy another when this bites the dust. I'll keep you posted.TOTAL MIS-FOLDS SINCE PURCHASED Estimated at 50 to 75! out of no telling how many cases of reams of paper. This thing has out lasted a printer, 20 Toners, 2 Employees and it's STILL ticking!--UPDATE 02/18/17 Still folding! A little maintenance with a dab of oil here and there and cleaning some trapped paper and it runs smooth. A little louder maybe, but I now live a tenth of a mile from ocean and metal parts, even indoors, gets affected.

Good but quirky
This is definitely a low end machine. It works well for what it is. I took a stack of old copy paper, and tweaked the machine so that it folds the way we want it to. The rulers on the folding guide, are just that, a guide. We also make it a point to tighten the screws every time we use the machine. With that said, it does what it claims it will do. It folds paper and has only mangled one sheet in about 5000 run through the machine. We don't change the settings since all we do is fold 8.5x11 in half. It does what we need.

It works great. A little hard to adjust but all good ...
DO NOT BUY IT.It is a piece of junk. Broke after 3 month with light use. Sent it to Techkomaid for warranty and waited and waited.Almost 3 month passed and nothing. Contacted them to see what happened and could not find it.Was told would get back to me in 24 hours and two weeks later still nothing.Contacted them again and talked to Liz and tells me can't find the paperwork but the tech has to look at it. That is after being there for 4 month. Avoid at all costs. Junk machine and an incompetent company who makes it.They have my machine and I am out my money. You are warned.

This machine was just okay. It did fold paper ...
This machine was just okay. It did fold paper, sometimes. It also miss folded paper a lot of time crinkling it beyond repair. In addition, the rubber rollers leave tracks. Now I was using it for pure white paper that I wanted no tracks on, perhaps glossy paper would not have tracks. Who knows. I've since resold this machine. Not worth the hassle.

Poor design with respects to making precise settings - but helpful hints inside
Really want to love this, has so much potential. My biggest problem is that the 2 guides (4 knobs) have to be set exactly for it to work without jams, creasing and crinkling. The guides have numbers, lines & letter markings where the knobs have to be placed for many various kinds of folds and paper sizes. The knobs COVER the very indications (a letter and line) you need TO SEE in order to set it correctly and a tiny fraction of an inch wrong will mess it up! What a horrible design. Plus the vibration from the machine will loosen the knobs with use so you can't set it once and forget it. All I want to it to do is take a piece of letter and fold it in thirds, this should be the easiest default setting!! Really a gross oversight IMO. UPDATE: Was having horrible feeding and jam problems with sheets that we print on 2 sides doing duplex manually (feeding it through the printer twice, manually, one side at a time). That must curl the paper in a manner the Folder does not like. Switched to a printer that duplexes automatically and the Folder behaves much, much better. Limit to 20 at a time and use your finger to push down the folded output in the basket until the next one spits out, repeat quickly, repeat quickly..., to avoid the folded sheets from "nesting" inside each other. Your finger needs to become part of the process! So 6 months after purchase, I finally figured out how to successfully use this for our needs, hope this helps others.

Good value letter/flyer folding unit.
Good value - price is right. Takes a bit of getting used to how it works, occasionally have to gently tap the top roller arm to get the next page to feed, but it cranks them out and when you get the paper catcher extended the right amount of distance for the paper and the type of fold you are performing - it's a reasonably slick operation. Could use better setup instructions - I figured it out without having to call for support but a bit more detail about exactly how the folding plates are supposed to rest in the unit would have saved me an anxious moment of saying I hope that's right, when I turned it on for the first time. Gave it 5 stars because only had one jam doing a 5,000 letter Z fold - and that's pretty good!Rated at up to 4200 an hour - I found it didn't like more than about 75 pages at a time using #20 lb laser bond paper. Machine has to be turned off, take folded paper out of the receiver, load more pages, turn on - so real world, probably more like 2,500 pages an hour. Bottom line: sure beats folding by hand and it runs overall better than a considerably higher priced unit I acquired a few years ago from one of the office supply chain stores.
