Solar System Puzzle

Because the puzzle is round it makes it a bit more challenging for children (and adults!) which means it’s better for teaching children how to problem solve than other standard puzzles. I bought it for my 4 year old nephews and they love making it over and over again and they name all of the planets as they do it. It’s very well made and great for teaching children about space.

Easy to put together. Shows the solar system well. Great colours good for ages 4 +. Good value for money, fun to make with the sun in the middle lighting up, sturdy pieces for smaller hands

Great jigsaw. Worth the slightly more expensive price

Our son is 3.6 years old and a dab hand at puzzles. I wasn’t sure whether this would be too challenging but it’s actually spot on. He’s getting quicker at putting it together and working out how to build it in sections. It’s very good quality; although some of the surface print is coming away; but he makes it at least once a day so I’m not surprised. The planets and sun are a great addition, as is the poster that has the name of each planet and facts. Thanks to previous reviewers about needed to buy batteries desperately. Overall a firm favourite for our puzzle lover.

Great puzzle and my nearly 5 year old managed to do this with a lot of my help… I have to admit I struggled to find a few pieces myself at 33. I remember seeing a review on here, saying their 3 year old could just about manage this puzzle on their own. I would like to meet this child as clearly they are a future Einstein!!!!

It’s a very good toy for kids who want to learn about planets. I bought it for my nephew and he liked it a lot. There is lot of stuff and it seems to be a very complete toy. You can even buy other theme puzzle from the same brand.

Unser Sohn ist jetzt 6 Jahre alt und hat dieses Puzzle bereits mit etwa 4 Jahren bekommen. Auch nach zwei Jahren puzzeln wir es immer noch gerne zusammen – obwohl er mittlerweile schon komplexere Puzzles meistert. Die Illustrationen sind liebevoll gestaltet und faszinierend für Kinder. Besonders freut er sich immer, wenn er die Sonne “leuchten” lassen kann. Er legt die Planeten stets in der richtigen Reihenfolge ein, was ganz nebenbei Wissen über unser Sonnensystem vermittelt. Auch die deutlich erkennbaren Umlaufbahnen, der Asteroidengürtel und viele kleine Details machen das Puzzle spannend und lehrreich. Unsere kleine Tochter (knapp 2) macht inzwischen auch begeistert mit. Eine absolute Empfehlung ab ca. 3–4 Jahren bis etwa 7 – es wächst wunderbar mit dem Kind mit!
