KitchenGrips Double Stitch Inverted BBQ Mitt, Black

I've used this brand for years & they work phenomenal. My first pair lasted 15 or more years??? I've had them so long that I can't remember. The old ones had worn so it was time to get a new pair. The new ones are the same rugged construction & work just as well. You can't feel any heat at all with these on. My only criticism on the new pair is that they inverted the seams to make them puff up so there is a opening...I preferred the old version which was sewed flat. The flat version was easier to store.

It does the job, not pretty, but it does the job it was meant to do. Cannot feel any heat when touching hot pots or pans, not even when they get wet. It also is long enough to cover and protect my wife's arms so she does not get burned. I ordered one to try it out, now I am ordering another one for us and some for gifts.

This mitt is awesome...It honestly feels like something you'd see a scientist using to grasp some cryo frozen samples...I bought it to use with my smoker, and it has proved to be wonderful all-around mitt.I love that the the mitt is resistant to very high temps. Using this mitt, I can pick up a 10 LB cast iron pan that is so f'n hot that I'd burn myself with any other pot-holder I've since owned.Super easy to clean and an absolute dream...

I noticed that the design is somewhat different than my old mitt in that the seam is inside rather than outside. I hope this change will make the mitt last longer (the seam came apart at the thumb on my old one). Regardless, this is an excellent mitt and really protects your hand. I have two - one for each hand. I use the old one that parted at the seam to open jars, so I didn't throw it out. It works great for jar opening!!

They protect you from burns. The are long enough to protect your arms as well as your hands. It protects from water and hot oil splashes, they wipe off and come in great colors. Since I have found these all other pot holders are trash!

Flexible and thin (relative to cloth mitts), this mitt goes up the arm. Just remember to order 2. Not a chance that you will be burned
