This product is amazing. I was doubtful it would work as my cat was really matted and over grown and I've never groomed him. Not only is it really sturdy and well made but its so satisfying to use , it glides through his tangled, clumpy fur and removes all of the hidden undercoat. I had no idea there was so much of it, I'm now feeling a little guilty that I didn't get one sooner. I removed a whole cats worth of hair just on the first use then the same amount the next day. It's gentle so the cat happily allows me to brush, he can be very fussy usually but he really enjoyed it and he seems so relieved to have it gone. He looks slimmer, shinier and healthier. It's SO worth the money and It's now my new hobby to do weekly. I 100% recommend you treat your cat to this they will love you for it.

This is fantastic. I’ve always used a Groomi for my Jack Russell who is almost 6. She started turning away when I was brushing her and I thought maybe it wasn’t comfortable. I’d heard good things about this so I bought it when it was on offer. It is brilliant. It’s smaller but does her whole body and is particularly good for her tail and haunches. I think it’s definitely more gentle for the dog but also easier for me to use - you had to get the angle of the Groomi just right, for it to work effectively. My dog bounces up onto the garden table now when she sees me with her brush! Her coat is lovely and soft and there’s noticeably less dog hair around the house.

I couldn’t quite believe the amount of hair I got off my cat with this brush. Quite incredible. Pictured is the first use with it of about 15mins brushing. My cat seemed to enjoy being brushed with the occasional sniff and bite at it. Easy to use, didn’t really need the push button to release the hair I could just pull it off easily. Only downside is if a lot a fur comes off (my cat had a lot of hair to shed) the small teeth on the brush don’t hold onto all of the fur, so it can fly about a bit if you don’t grab it. Otherwise I would highly recommend, it is worth the price in my opinion.

This is the first time that im leaving a review on amazon but this furminator deserves the recognition. My cat is a domestic long hair and is prone to matting. I have taken her to the vet many times to shave the matting off and my vet recommended this. It is the best brush I have ever used. It removed all the matting and undercoat allowing for her fur to breathe and makes her so soft. I can just tell that she enjoys how it feels and that she feels much lighter after using it. Please and please buy this for your cat its the best brush ever made !!

Brings out hair from my shorthaired cat I didn’t think he had. He also loves the feeling. My other cat doesn’t like the sensation but he’s a but different. Well worth the extra money from the other generic brushes.

The item performance is great. I have 2 short hair cats, it took a lot of hair already in the first 30 sec of brushing. Just be careful don't press too much as it is slightly sharp.
