5 Five Feet Ft Made in The USA Rot Resistant Cypress Lumber Roll Back Porch Swing with Swing-Mate™ Comfort Springs

I purchased this porch swing a while back and just recently had time to install it. The swing was free from any damage or any defects. It's made from real solid wood which makes it that much nicer! It also comes with real solid metal mounting brackets, springs and solid metal chains. Assembly took about 10-15 minutes. The only issue I ran into was the length of the chains which do not reflect on the seller. My porch is at least 10 feet tall or higher and when I hung the swing it was way to high off the ground. This was a simple fix. I went to Home Depot and they carried the same chains provided in this kit. I bought two longer chains to replace vertical chains which cost about $4. Once I replaced the chains the swing hung without any issues and looks great! My wife and I love the swing and how comfortable it feels. Even though it is cypress I might seal the swing just to protect it from the elements. But it does look very nice as is.

I only gave it a 4 stars because some of the end boards came cracked and damaged and I needed to do some prep work before paint. The assembly was easy took 45min by myself and instructions were straight forward. I had to go to HomeDepot to get some extension chain but was able to find the exact one and make it longer. The quality is solid and seems like it will hold up for years to come. It is super comfy with the rounded design and it even has a lounging type feel. Wish there was some cupholders or an option to add them to it but I can always fabricate something to work with it.

Product is very sturdy and easy to assemble

We stained it dark brown and hung it on an old swing support in our yard, using the super heavy duty chains that had been used on the swings. It's very comfortable with the inbuilt curves making cushions unnecessary. I know the stain is optional for cypress but I like the brown in our wooded lot. We sit and read the Sunday paper on it and have a nice view of the lake and our house/lot. The springs did not arrive in the shipment but an email to the seller had them at our house within a week - and those springs make a big difference in the swing comfort. Cup holders would have been nice but no big deal. I'm glad we had the heavier chains available and might have bought new ones as the ones provided do not appear to be sturdy. I guess it all depends on who is using the swing. We had 2-3 adults from M to XXL and like the peace of mind from the uber chains. Would definitely buy again and might for an area closer to the lake.

This swing was ordered last year and was not put outside until August. It was taken down in October and stored in a 3 seasons room with the other lawn furniture. The wood had already started to show discoloration. We were hoping that would go away once the wood was completely dried. Over the winter it has bowed, screws popped, and some of the wood has split. Very disappointing. This was a very expensive piece and is now useless. I would like to send it back. DO NOT BUY THIS SWING.

Really nice. Well made.Easy to assemble

This is a really nice swing. The seat is contoured so sitting is more comfortable. The reason I gave it four stars is that we have had some boards mold. Assembly was relatively easy and it is well made.
