Excellent, perfectly suited for their intended use.
I purchased these LED strips to accent a new PC I built recently, and they have done an excellent job so far. I did have a minor issue with the adhesive not holding on vertical surfaces, so I contacted the seller about the issue. They were very easy to work with and helped me get the issue resolved without any hassle on my part. Overall, 5/5 would purchase again. Pros: The strips are sized perfectly for adding accent light to a PC. Having 4 one foot sections is way easier to work with than trying to use a single long strip or building/soldering them yourself. I tried the remote control through the glass side panel of my case and it worked perfectly. I currently have the lights plugged into the Aura RGB header on the motherboard to control them that way. This also works without issue. This kit includes everything you would need to wire a PC up for lighting including enough extension cables to wire everything in so it looks nice. Cons: As I said, I had a minor issue with the lights not holding on vertical surfaces. This was solved by using some double sided mounting tape, which has held well. I am not entirely sold on using the included clips. The adhesive does seem stronger, but it created a 'speed bump' looking bubble over where the clip was, causing a part of the strip itself to lose contact with the case. These bumps were always the first place to lose their grip before I used the double sided tape. Other: I also have some LED lights around my desk that has been installed for a while. It is the same type that is sold in 15 ft rolls that you can find all over on Amazon. The wiring for the LED strips I already had and these were different, so that when I tried to wire them into a single controller and power supply the blue and green channels were reversed. So if I had full green on my old LED's it would have full blue on the new ones inside the case. This isn't something that the seller can control, nor is it something I thought to ask before purchasing, but it is something to consider. Oddly enough, because only the blue and green channels are reversed, full red works fine. I was able to solder in a wire a crossover for the blue and green where the new LEDS are wired in and after that the colors matched without issue.

Great lights!
This was very easy to place in the area I wanted to illuminate and you can change colors too to accent the products!

Works well, many colors. Sticky things don't.
I ordered this set to explore the idea of adding lighting under my kitchen cabinets. It was inexpensive and included everything I needed to set this up. I wired it up before I mounted it to see how it looked. The lights seemed to be bright. So I mounted everything about 3" back from the front lips of the cabinets. The double-sided foam tape stuck everything in place well. The remote control worked at a long distance from the IR receiver. Just about everything was hidden, except the wire between cabinets, separated by a microwave oven. I came back to it the next morning, and several of the hooks had fallen, as well as the IR receiver. The lights were halfway hanging down as well. I am exploring alternatives to get these to stay up. I tried gorilla glue to keep the light strings up, and SuperGlue brand doublesided foam tape which seems to be much better so far, except for the IR receiver. The LED's themselves are adequate, but are not as bright as I hoped. I like the white, yellow, and blue colors, but likely will not use any others. And I really don't know why there is a flash and fade mode as they are annoying. Overall, this is a good starter pack that you can put in place to get an idea of what you really want later.

Works great in a full tower case
While it is perfectly possible and sometimes preferable to simply purchase a large strand of LEDs, cut them to length, and attach the necessary connectors, I had plenty of room in my computer case and did not feel like spending extra on ordering additional adapters, so managed to make these work almost flawlessly. By utilizing an adapter to plug into molex power (purchased separately from Amazon and included in a previous review), I was able to power these directly inside my case. These are also perfect for those individuals that do not have the knowledge about cutting there own LED strands or are simply uncomfortable doing so. Additionally, the colors can be changed or even various actions performed by the lights with the included remote! I found this feature particularly useful as I simply was not sure how everything would look when complete and this gave me the flexibility that I needed. Additionally, all the connectors were already included to connect each of the four, one foot strands of RGB lights together, meaning no other purchases unless the molex adapter is needed as mentioned earlier. I highly recommend these items as they worked great, however, I want to also mention some considerations while installing this item: 1. Each strand contains it's own double sided tape to be able to affix it directly to the items desired. Even though I put it into a brand new case, I did have some slight difficulty keeping the adhesive sticking in some areas, though, admittedly, I did not attempt to wipe down the surface ahead of time. They also include additional adapters that can be used to mount the LEDs that also use double sided tape should that be necessary. 2. Before installing, it is a good idea to attach all the strands together and test them out. I ran into an issue in which I accidentally installed a connector or two backwards (which is possible) and resulted in some strands not working initially. Again, this is more on me than on a problem with the manufacturer. Simply keep an eye on how each strand is connected as there is a little arrow on one side to show the correct positioning. Doing so will save some headaches later! 3. As the remote is IR, a direct line of sight is likely necessary in order to use the remote. Keep this in mind when installing, especially as I did inside a computer case. Formulating a plan as to how this will be installed will allow you to change the lights on the fly without dismantling wherever these are installed. (For me, I actually put the receiver in an open fan port on the top of my pc case. It allows me to change the color when I want and is hidden behind a grill, so is not even remotely visible to others). In the end, I am perfectly happy with these and will likely utilize these or another Hitlights product based off of my experience when I have a need to use them in the future, in computer cases, or throughout the house.

the liquor cabinet is great. However
I ordered this because it had all the accessories and pre-cut strips for a homemade liquor cabinet I was making. And when the lights work, the liquor cabinet is great. However, the next day, I noticed the first LED string in the string of 4 was out. It was clearly connected since the other 3 down the line had power. After some troubleshooting, I realized I had the connector on backwards, but there's no notch or anything to really line up the connectors properly. They didn't exactly idiot-proof that. After reversing some connectors, everything works. Furthermore, they come with double sided tape (looks like 3M VHB). I've noticed only about half of the strips have it adhered well -- the other half don't hold. As such, I'm holding some up with duct tape. I'm asking for a replacement set to hopefully get some strips that actually hold. The positives are as follows - this comes with EVERYTHING you need, the extension cables, little clips to keep the extensions secured and out of the way, the remote, etc. I liked this one because, unlike a lot of other ones with just long light strings, this had non-lighted extension cords for going from shelf to shelf. The lights give off a lot more light than I expected, and while I just figured I'd use the white light, my wife started playing around with different colors and we noticed Cyan (pictured here) had the best effect. It evens has dance/"hoopty" mode, where it appears it's trying to cause a seizure. I have no need for that, but it's kind of cool to show off to friends :) I'm giving this 3 stars since the features are exactly what I needed, but the quality (adhesive tape) was less than ideal and poka-yoke (mistake proofing) wasn't really thought of in the design.

Really easy plus RF control is great
Installed these into a display cabinet to provide light. Was very easy to attach and install. I had to drill a bit larger of a hole (1/2 inch) to insert the attaching male/female wire connector - but a very minor issue. Just make sure the small arrows line-up. You can space the lights out or place them together per your need. I put the lights together and used the extra connectors so that I did not require an extension as that plus the 6 foot electrical line from the 110 volt power adaptor gave me plenty of line to my electrical outlet behind the cabinet. These are very cool. They use little electricity, are very bright, light weight and the adhesion works perfect. Make sure the alignment is good as the adhesive backing sticks well. You can remove and replace, but I tried to get it right the first time and measured so that I just peeled and stuck to the top of the inside of the cabinet. Th BEST feature along with the multiple light options and multiple colors is the RF (radio frequency) transmitter. This allows off/on operation and adjustment without a direct line-of-sight to the light sensor control. I can turn on and adjust without facing a certain director or have to expose the sensor which makes installation very easy and cosmetically much better. Used for a couple of weeks no with no problems. I will be purchasing at least two more sets for another project. Excellent product.

Good product - but I wish I could make it brighter when recessed.
Pretty much what you would expect from modular RGB leds. easy to install Pros: - The usual remote but it functions well. - Easy to customize - Basic selection of connection work - had some Clips included though I wasn't able to use on my scrap wood project. Cons / could be better: - Would have been nice if the clips came with a hole drilled so you could screw/nail if you don't want to trust the adhesive. - could have seen a split connection included to vastly increase functionality. Yes its modular you can't run four separate lines from the unit which limits its usefulness to a straight line with added gaps effectively . - A bit dim in a lit room if used for accent during daylight - like you cant see it dim. - Very stiff strips if flat against a surface there is so much coating on the strips making a slight curve is a challenge if not impossible (why I wasn't able to use the adhesive and had to get something else to hold the on with) ended up mounting on edge just to get any kind of bend in there. - Bulky in most areas, flimsy where it counts. The connections a just 4 bits of hard wire in a miniscule plastic strip. just putting it together you know this is a future failure point , hell they were popping out just trying to get the clips on and I was on a flat desk, wouldn't try it upside down on an installed fixture. Summary: I'd buy it again but probably look for something with more flex unless just straight under cabinet mounting. Definitely not a suitable for case mods unless your case is flat piece of plywood.
