I coated the mold in melted chocolate, then froze for 10 mins, then added crumbled cake mixed with a bit of icing, covered in more chocolate, then froze for 10 more minutes. They popped right out! I've also seen bakers put the cake pop mix right into the mold, then remove and dip in chocolate. First picture is for size reference. Those are 3 Starbursts inside the mold.

I used these to make cake pops and they turned out really well! These take practice and I do suggest watching a video at least once. My hardest time is keeping the sides from cracking, even after going in twice and making the sides extra thick. Practiced 5 times and still need to do a bit more. It cleans up really easy and silicone is thick. I was surprised at how small these were but it's a perfect amount I think of cake.
