Buenisimo! Gabriel Garcia Marquez escribe 12 cuentos fantasticos. Canda uno mejor que el anterior. El prologo es muy importante, describe de donde nacieron estas historias. Se lo recomindo al que le guste pensar en que significa ser humano.Great! Gabriel Garcia Marquez write 12 fantastic stories. Each one better than the last. The prologue is a must read, it describes how these stories came about. I recommend this book to who ever enjoys thinking about what it means to be human.

Superb introduction to Marquez. I would fully recommend these to anyone who does not know this amazing, imaginative author, who sadly has just died. However, his short stories and novels (eg El Coronel no tiene quien le escriba o 100 anos de Soledad are S American classics of the first degree.Enjoy!(Ps short stories very good for keen A level learners of Spanish or post)cjm

My first encounter with the author, I liked the book, he can attract the reader to keep flipping through the pages. One point I have to raise is that the author is too pessimistic, too much drama and gloom, it's like a black cloud is hovering over all of the scenes in the book.

This collection of short stories is a perfect introduction to the work of the master writer, Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Each is finely crafted and has an intensity that only a author of his genius would be able to contain within the confines of this genre.Each story is a gem of literature.

This is not about the content of the book but about the inability to tell what number page one is reading, I need this information for my homework. Very inconvenient.
