Easy to install. Works great. I am so relieved to finally have it QUIET in the bathroom; the old valve was slow and just ran and ran and ran. This wasn't expensive; it is adjustable. And there are instructions in both print and video form.

I’ve installed the Fluidmaster 400H-002 Performax Universal Toilet Fill Valve in all my toilets and generally love its performance—quiet, efficient, and easy to install. The adjustable settings make it versatile for different tank sizes, and it’s been reliable in most cases. However, one unit has an issue: it emits a high-pitched noise, likely from a leaking valve, and the water level slowly rises to the top of the overflow tube, wasting water. Jiggling the float temporarily stops the noise, but the problem persists. I raised the overflow tube to force the valve to shut off, but the water level still creeps up over time, indicating a faulty shutoff valve. Unfortunately, it’s past the return window, so I’m stuck with it. Check my attached photo for a visual of the issue (overflow tube and water level). I’d still recommend this product for its overall quality, but be aware of potential valve issues and test it promptly after installation. A replacement valve might resolve this for others.

God is so good! 🙌 This product and this company are absolutely awesome. I’ll be honest—it only took me about 15 minutes to replace my toilet fill valve. I had the part for a while but kept putting it off. I was so tired of the toilet running nonstop and constantly having to take the lid off to adjust it. Finally, I said, “That’s it—I’m fixing this today.” I even got instructions from ChatGPT beforehand, but honestly, I didn’t need them because the instruction booklet included with this product is excellent—clear, simple, and very easy to follow. I did run into one small challenge: the rubber hose in my toilet is permanently attached to the main nozzle and wouldn’t come off. I called the company for guidance, and their tech support was incredibly friendly and helpful. He told me to take the hose off of their toilet fill valve and just connect it to the nozzle in my toilet. I told him that I had been trying to do that, but it wouldn’t come off. So he told me to place their hose in hot water, and it came right off—problem solved! I was then able to install everything with no issues. Why pay $200 for a plumber when you can do it yourself? This cost me around $15, took about 15 minutes, and works perfectly. I’m so happy with this purchase and truly impressed with both the product and the customer service. Highly recommend!

So far this has fixed my water running problem. It was easy to install, easy to adjust and it’s very quiet while operating. These are the only products I use to repair toilets. I have gotten a couple that didn’t stop the water running issue but that’s few and far between and they have been replaced without issues. It just sucks to have to do all that work over again. I still recommend these for their price and longevity.

We had a problem fill valve when we moved in years ago, but worked around it sometimes needing to be jostled to fill the tank. It was rare so we put up with it. The other day it just stopped filling entirely. Ordered this replacement, and received it from Amazon the morning of the next day ... was on my porch when I woke up. Simple swap out, and the toilet is now filling correctly. This unit also has an adjustment for the bowl water level which I've not seen in these fill valves before. But, this allows you to set the bowl level as well as the tank level ... which is nice for people looking to fine tune their flush. Universal fit/compatible!

Perfect fit and fast delivery

Cuento con hidroneumático (30-50 psi) en mi hogar, tuve que cambiar mis antiguas válvulas con flotador porque provocaban vibraciones excesivas en las tuberías, estas vibraciones sólo desaparecían cuando cerraba casi por completo la válvula de control angular, lo cual no era conveniente porque tardaba hasta 15 minutos en llenarse el tanque. Encontré esta válvula después de buscar en foros de plomería, pedí esta versión de 2 válvulas, vienen en una caja de cartón perfectamente resguardadas. La válvula es de plástico (PP y POM) de gran calidad, aunque puede parecer frágil al tacto, es muy resistente una vez instalada. La instalación es bastante sencilla (solo ocupé una llave inglesa y el vídeo de instalación en la descripción de este producto). Adjunté un video de su funcionamiento luego de bajar la palanca completamente, llenó el tanque de mi inodoro (4.5 L) en menos de medio minuto y no hubo golpe de ariete (vibración de tubos). Aclaro lo siguiente, no es tan silenciosa como promociona la página de Fluidmaster (pero sí más silenciosa que una válvula de llenado con flotador Fleximatic, como el de la foto), sin embargo, sí llena el tanque bastante rápido y trabaja excelente con alta presión de agua (hasta 125 psi). El producto no es caro en comparación con lo que ofrece (llenado rápido, eficiente con alta presión de agua, silencioso si lo comparas con válvulas de flotador), además tiene garantía de 7 años. LO RECOMIENDO.
