This is 40 yds, enough to bind quite a few seams on the lingerie & swimwear I intend to use it for. I also didn’t want to pay $1-2/yd (!) as I have seen smaller yardages listed for. Sometimes it is hard to find a decent price unless you need 100 yds. The price is about 32 cents/ yd, which is on the low end of what I used to pay for lingerie elastic at the Mill End Store in Portland, OR years ago. It came professionally packaged on a sturdy plastic spool, wrapped in plastic. The end was tucked under, not taped, which I prefer. I ordered the Royal Blue, it is a slightly purple blue, but it looks like the picture. (Note: I used an Ott-Lite for my pics, hoping to capture the true color as much as possible, but my eye still reads a hint of purple in person.
