Cacique, Queso Fresco Cheese 10oz

It arrived the day I ordered for my tamales 🫔. It is great, I forgot to pick up when I was at the store that morning. Amazingly cheaper than the store and made the tamales a lot more tasty.

Tasted good in tacos. Nice consistency.

This is a great cheese with a hint of salt without being too much. I love it on tacos or a taco salad. It crumbles so well without leaving a mess on everything or wasting half the cheese because it sticks to everything in its path.

I love this cheese because of the carb content (0), and the texture is great, slightly crumbly. It's a good substitute for feta on salads.

Great price for a cheese I’d never tried before! I guess I’d compare it to sort of a mixture of FETA and Farmers Cheese maybe? Tangy, a bit crumbly - yet creamy - I used it in a cold salad of farro, blueberries, celery, and cilantro and it was very good. Also used it in a hot dish - an enchilada casserole and it worked really well there also - and I’m planning to buy it again and try it in other applications as well.
