I ordered a similar pump from Lowe's. It cost a little more, took longer to arrive than previously estimated (over a week), and was damaged when delivered. I returned it to Lowe's, and the lady at their customer service desk gave me a lot of grief over the pump being carelessly damaged during delivery handling. I returned home, promptly ordering a pump from Amazon. It arrived within two days. It works like a champ!

This is a very good sump pump. It is quite reliable and operates well for may years.

Good pump, works well. If I was buying for the long haul I would have gotten the one with the cast iron bottom

Pump has malfunctioned three times in just the first 3 months. Continues to run after reaching the low level shut off. Wayne chose not to address the situation since the pump was in an enclosed pit and protected from the weather but not inside the house, they said the pump was for inside use only. The malfunction had nothing to do with where the pump was located.

This is a great pump. Very powerful, but very quiet. It is used in a submerged plastic container at the corder of the pool deck and a garage wall, which is a necessary low spot for rain drainage away from the swimming pool. This pump turns on automatically, when the container fills up and does so in a very small period of time. Really like the vertical float switch. The lever based switch in the old pump was always getting hung up when debris would build up in the container.

The pumps work great have purchased before. This time two rubber clips that hold float in place and important piece for pumps to work were broken. I had to modify both pumps to work correctly
