Review: Thin oil protectant, not paint, works for my purposes - This is a very low viscosity oil used to reduce rusting on uncoated steel and iron. Works great for my purposes. I use it on the blades of hedge trimmers and hand shears and other yard/garden tools. I've used it on the mechanism of various adjustable wrenches, where it not only stops rust it also lubes them. Lots of various uses. Just be aware of what it is and that it is NOT paint.
Review: Contrary to other review claims, it dries pretty darn well - After reading through the reviews, I was skeptical about ordering this product due to the claims that the product doesn't dry after application. I used this product in a bathroom with poor ventilation because some metal items in the bathroom tend to start rusting. At first when you apply it, it does have a greasy residue that seems like it would wipe off easily which might lead one to think that it won't dry. However, I applied it, let it dry overnight, and the next day it was completely dry and I didn't notice a residue or film whatsoever on the treated surfaces. I might add that I did quite a thick application of the stuff, so I am more than pleased with the ability of this product to dry and adhere to the metal surface. Perhaps the other reviewers didn't give it adequate time to dry and adhere. I will come back in a few months and give it 5 stars if it actually does its job and prevents rust from forming.

I'm not sure how well it ACTUALLY works at inhibiting rust without a side-by-side comparison but when I sprayed this on a rusty surface it did seem to react pretty strongly chemically against the rust. It didn't disintegrate the rust because that's not what it is for. The point of that test was to prove if this is just a money-bait product or it does actually work. By a visual test, and seeing the chemical react differently on a rusty surface, I'd say this is a working product.
