Window Squeegee with Long Handle and Scrubber, for Car, Boat, RV Windows, Windshields, and Shower Glass Doors, Cleaning Tool with Large Sponge

My old squeegee worked so well and its replacements did not that I kept my old for 25 years and allowed it to rust. When I found this one almost identical in size and made of material that won't rust I was sold on it. Getting the one with the same ergonomics and handling ability was great. Just what I needed.

Product does NOT squeegee water away well. It is not smooth, leaving uneven water droplets behind. I decided maybe the glass shower wasn’t going to be its thing so I’d try it on a window. Not sure why I though it might work better. Nope. I had much better results with an Amazon brand squeegee that was almost half this price and included replacement rubber blades. This one is sturdy in all other aspects but it doesn’t swipe water away like you’d expect. Very disappointed because I don’t like throwing things away in general, especially new things. But…..

I bought this for exclusive use on my cars and it works OK as a windshield/rear window cleaning device. There was no problem with reach and it is easy to handle. I've only used it once so I can't comment on the durability of the squeegee, but the sponge portion on mine wasn't well constructed/assembled. There's a netting over the sponge and mine was loose and had separated along one edge, near the middle. It's a pain to disassemble and try to reseat the netting. I had higher expectations for this, but it did allow me to clean the glass. I'll update this in the future if durability is an issue.

I was hoping for something similar to what you use in a gas station to clean your windshield but was disappointed. In fairness, the price is low so you can't expect too much. The sponge side flips back and forth making it difficult to scrub. The rubber on the other side is not very deep so it's hard to clean even flat glass.

Looks great, light weight, and durable. The only thing that bothers me is that the scrubbing sponge side of the squeegee is not stable enough as it folds over too much when I'm trying to scrub. I would like the scrubber to stay in place better and not flop around when I'm trying to scrub bugs off.

I purchased this to clean the windshield of my car. Previously I had been using a model from Rubbermaid; however, the rubber was so stiff and inflexible it did a very poor job as a squeegee. This model has soft, pliable rubber that makes good contact with the glass. As you can see from the photo the standard-thread extendable handle that came with the Rubbermaid squeegee fits on this model perfectly, making it even more versatile. I have used it three times so far and it has done an admirable job during the height of Florida love bug season.

The wiper blade works fine but the sponge side is too flimsy and is not fastened deep enough. When you wash the window the sponge flops back and forth, away from the glass. So you end up just sliding a cloth covered edge along the window, no sponge.
