Worked as expected
You kind of have to take a lot. It tastes like medicine so I had to put it in another drink to disguise the taste for my mom. It worked as expected though.

Very effective
I have used big gelcaps before. Hard to swallow and i would get a tummy ache in an HR. I got this to try. I read some reviews and most said take with milk. I took a mild dose for 2 days and not much happened. I then read more on it and 6tsp. Was mentioned. I used 6tsp to 12oz of milk. In 2 days it worked a lot of very easy to pass and ever day the same. I finally had full complete movements that were soft. I highly recommend. Must put in milk though it does irritate throut without it.

Not for me
For the most part it has value for money. Is easy to use. Texture is liquid as described. I’m unable to rate the effectiveness because I wasn’t able to take more than one dose. No problems with product except that it tasted horrible. Whether alone or mixed in with juice etc as recommended, the flavor was awful. I was expecting it to have more of a cherry flavor as described but I couldn’t taste any cherry flavor. I’m sure it works well for many people and I know it could just be my own taste buds. I don’t want to rate this as a bad product, just sharing MY experience.

This is NOT the product to use for constipation
Foul chemical tasting and was ineffective at recommended dose. My poor husband managed to get several doses down but this product was so revolting he elected to stop taking it. After waiting two days he went back to a more reliable product.

Use milk to dull taste
I have been taking the liquid Docusate Sodium for years now and have taken many different brands. I had fissure surgery about 20 years ago and the Doctor told me to take this medication, probably for the rest of my life. I have trouble swallowing a pill, so that's why I take the liquid. First, I tried taking this medication with a soft drink, then I tried juice, then I tried the only thing that will kill the very strong, bitter, awful taste of this medicine. I just mix the dosage the doctor told me to take with a glass of milk ( I use 2% milk) and it will dull the strong taste enough to where you can tolerate it. Nothing else worked, and I'll pray for you if you try and take this stuff without diluting it at all!!
