Fresh Mangosteen

Ordered two bags of 12 mangosteens on a Thursday. They arrived promptly on Saturday. And the package was hand-labled "Very Fresh, please enjoy." The first three fruits that we opened were spoiled, a fourth was so-so, and the fifth was perfect. The others remain untried. In sum, I am very disappointed with the quality. Will never order from them again. I have pictures of the awful fruit and of the false statement of freshness on the package. A couple mangosteens came in bad. But I got 10 total fruits. This is a fruit I've been super super excited to purchase and try. I was ok with the fact that they might come in rotten cuz I mainly wanted seeds to plant but most came in great and I now have 6 seeds. Still have 2 more to open up and eat but man!! I was so excited for this and am EXTREMELY HAPPY FOR THIS PURCHASE!!! This was also the cheapest place I could find to buy these from! I dont know if people understand how extremely excited I was to recieve these!! 🤩🤩☺️

Quick shipment. Fruit was a bit smaller than expected. I received a mesh bag containing about 12 small mangosteen. Most of them were good, with perhaps 3 or 4 that had a few bad sections. (one was inedible) Even those had a couple of salvageable sections to eat. Overall pleased with the fruit. I would love to find fresher and larger mangosteen, but I don't live in southeast asia, so....

These are awful!! I was so excited to get these because I love mangosteens. But there were only 10 and out of 10 only 2 were good to eat. That much money and it isn’t even satisfying. Don’t buy these.

queen Elizabeth offered a fortune to any one who could bring her a fresh one, but sailing ships of the day could not do it, but she was right, this fruit is the best of the worlds fruits, perfect ripeness and sweetest flavor ever, each one was scrumptious and a delight to my palette, lived in India for 14 years and never failed to stock up on them in season, never paid this much for any but a once in a while splurge

Sadly, these mangosteens are not fresh. A majority of the ones I got had, what looked like, yellow slime inside. Some of the other fruits, the mangosteen flesh tasted bitter with a starchy taste.

I was so disappointed when I got the fresh mangosteen I ordered. First, the fruits looked old and very very hard. I couldn't even open the fruit with a just a knife, I had to pound it with heavy material. And when I opened one, it was spoiled rotten inside. I reported it to the supplier and Amazon and was glad they refunded my money. It was quite expensive for nine very tiny pieces of mangosteen.

Product was shipped on time and arrived well before the estimated date. The number of mangosteens was as advertised. However, of the nine received, only one was edible. The other eight were partially or totally rotten. The shipment was not cooled when it arrived. There was what looked like an ice pack, but if it was, it was melted and not of any use keeping the product cool. The small part we could taste had a wonderful flavor. Unfortunate that we paid $45 for one or two bites. I have photos if anyone cares.
